@wyndrum -I think the chances of them being complicit is less than 0.01%. For a number of reasons 1. It would constitute a criminal investigation and potential charges 2. Their business model would be flawed 3. If they were complicit why would they invoke an independent Qc inquiry ? It would be the equivalent of signing your own death warrant and then putting the noose around your neck

I would suggest you have a somewhat limited understanding of the market if you make statements like that. I’m not being personal or attacking but come on - it’s a REGULATED market, companies on any of the regulated index’s cannot choose which rule they follow and Which one they don’t. If they did they would be delisted. Maybe it’s just about accepting Boo are in line with their expectations and not hitting some spurious figure we have all come up with by comparing to other internet online providers

So am interested in some peoples views -
1. Lack of RNS V Aim rules - so if no release of RNS which is now looking the likely outcome that means that Boo are within their original estimate of growth / 25% from memory? Which is fine but not the exponential outcomes we thought. Therefore unlikely to have any huge impact on SP as more than likely priced in. That being said we haven’t seen any rise - so is where it was a month ago so perhaps we may see a rise in the next 2 weeks fingers crossed
Report outcomes, nothing known yet but likely to leek over next 2 weeks either way I reckon perhaps some media around findings etc. But if no skeleton etc then should bring things back up

2 things I find genuinely interesting and am looking back at mine and others posts and wondering how did we call it wrong thus far

- none of us thought we would be at 2.98, 2 weeks before results and to be fair at 3.26 3 weeks ago it was looking like the original trajectory of sp return but now clearly not in the results timeframe.

Finally I’ll probably get shot down but I don’t really care - it really winds me up when people say this will be £5 in a year blah blah great investment - it was £2.50 in 2017 so 3 years later it was also back down to £2.20 so it’s just stupid to assume it will double or triple.

You can probably tell I need a boo cuddle, I was always so positive on this share and am ridiculously invested in it and in fairness still in profit. I just don’t understand how we all misread it up to this point the market is a cruel beast but also makes little sense to me at times. We all say the market impacts on the sp whether uk or us, they both rise and yet boo go down still. It’s a confusing set of affairs currently, and I’m starting to doubt myself, blind belief is as dangerous and stupid as no belief! I trust the fundamentals, I don’t trust the bod as much as I did before This expose, I’m not Impressed with the wall of silence. If they did nothing wrong come out fighting, if the sales are out of this world then say so and wet the city appetites. But maybe we’ve called it wrong maybe they are good and in line but not outstanding. Sorry for a negative post but I genuinely could do with some opinions on my points

@arudgeI have to respectively disagree and after all that’s what these boards are all about. I in no way think the BOD have played a blinder. There wall of silence has seen 25% of their share price written off and the departure of two large funds with at this point in time no new funds added. Whichever way they play it whether it was now or on the 30th they will still continue to be in the sights of murdoch and his Merry men. They will just pull out key wording from the report that suits their agenda regardless of what Boo propose as a solution.I think the Boo response has been very disappointing thus far actually, their PR, media crisis team has done little overtly to offer any reassurance or solution. I am sure that regardless of what overt action has taken place much covert behind the scenes work with funds has taken place to provide reassurance however.My frustration at time’s on this board are people’s obsessions that record sales = record high Sp results. It just doesn’t - record sales = great money in Boo company accounts but we already know that, they have circa 600mill already sitting there. That’s done nothing for the SPMy anxiety with this share as we get closer is that it’s looking more and more likely that’s it’s all in on red - and by that I mean it’s going to be everything on the table and then for people to decide. The main risk around this strategy is that regardless of results, the response to the claims is what appears to be the current stumbling block with the SPFeeling somewhat deflated with this stock currently, we are where we are a month ago with the price - it looked like a strong return to £4 when we were at £3.26 2 weeks ago before the guardian article hit and took it back to £2.90. I suppose with hindsight that shows the fragility with sentiment still around this share. If it had continued without that article then it could of been different. However I think now it is uncertain for me anyway, be interested to hear other people’s views ?

I’ll put my hands up I’m a bit disappointed with where we are at and don’t really understand how we are where we are a month ago with the sp.

It peaked at 3.24 two weeks ago and has just sat at between 3.10 - 2.90 in a depressingly predictable stream. Unless of course you day trade it

I’m also slightly bemused by the market correlation, ftse goes down Dow goes down - boo goes down everyone says ‘ it’s the market all impacts etc’ fine I get that... ftse goes up Dow goes up - Boo goes down.. that leaves me confused.

Never say never there are still 2.5 trading weeks left and a lot can Happen. But even 3.50 seems generous

100% agree with that.. I am fairly confident about the review - I think If they had any really obvious skeletons they Wouldn’t of asked a very well respected QC to do the review, she won’t risk her reputation for a quick buck or at least I very much doubt she would. I think there will be learning and faults in processes etc however if Boo can post a robust defence and action plan to address any shortfall with little or no impact on margins or production then hopefully should be all good

I’m hoping this week.. we have 2.5 weeks to final update and investigation outcome from Monday. With a decent RNS this week that still leaves plenty of time for people to buy Into the action.

It’s been interesting reading some of the differing views etc on this board. As aggressive and insistent some people are with their polar views bizarrely they are both right.
Let’s take results - it is fair to say that the SP going into results will have factored in outstanding results how much or what we don’t know.
It’s not a ‘guarantee’ that the sp will go up on the day in fact it has gone down sometimes by 20-30% on results day. That being said the last few results days the SP has gone up, additionally look at JD today great update sp closes roughly 10% up. So there is an argument for both sides to be made
The make or break in relation to the SP will come from new funds post results it won’t be instant it will be in the weeks that follow.
It’s highly unlikely the 2 funds that exited will buy back in regardless of the outcomes as it will look like complete incompetence from them. Which we know it already is - they bolted and for all we know they may have been already looking for an exit point.

I’m still bullish about this stock going into results I’ve tied myself to 3.50 in my posts I think we could still be on track for that. Without an RNS I would adjust that to maybe 3.20/3.30

It’s held onto 3.00 well, however I think whoever stated it was in a trading range of 2.90-3.10 was spot on. It will need something to kick start it out of that

agreed Bricks...... I am half expecting the American markets to open up and knock 5% straight off! I think the point around volatility relates to SP longer term, i agree that 2.5% isn't enough to crack open the champagne quite yet, however a slower steadier rise is better than the 8% gain followed by three days of losses equating to say 12%.

It is a volatile share and to a degree since I first entered in 2017 it has always been like that, but as the company expanded and becomes more of a global player that volatility should become less. The reality however is that any AIM 250 Is volatile to some degree as is the whole stock market admittedly some shares more than others

Great Post Porn King, you have mirrored my sentiments exactly. Interesting angle around US Growth and absolutely spot on, small rises are the key for this share a reduction in volatility is critical (unless you are a day trader, this share is often referred to as a day traders dream) to draw in longer term holders and city influence.
Next week will be very interesting as Boo BOD will be in receipt of the report and that will start to leak into the wider city circles, if it is palatable then we may start to see large increases before results with a view to getting in before any large rise.

Yup fully agree, my conservative estimate was 3.50 so we are in the same arena.

That in itself is a very disappointing sp given the strength of this company and current financial records. This should of been going into results at £4.80 - £5.20 prior to this media onslaught.

My fear around the report is this - like any report the devil is in the detail, there will of course be some findings and it’s about whether the media choose to just grab the report headlines and run with those.

Sadly as we all know the line between perception and reality is often very blurred. There won’t be any significant increase in this Sp till the funds top up or return and that will I suppose be determined by the outcomes and public response to the report.

Finally, I suppose it’s important to add to that old doctrine profit is profit so even at £3.50 the majority of us are nicely in profit. It’s just disappointingly low for such a fantastic company

Fantastic bit of research mate thank you, really useful. I was asking around some friends earlier and the consensus was yes for any negative performance but not for positive. The stuff you have provided is much clearer. So fingers crossed for an RNS next week!!!

At least we finished up over £3.00 (just)..... £4 seems a long way away in this climate with more twists and turns to follow I’m sure. I do think a positive RNS could take this to £3.30 easily and then add another £20p into results. We still have 2.5 weeks to go from Monday.It’s been a painful week and expect a few more ones to follow! Nothing is easy about this share !!

Highly Unlikely... always normally 0700 for main trading money based updates Due to impact on days trading. Maybe Monday but past that unlikely as then too close to main update.

I think it’s a big fail not to release a rns as the sp is entering potential double pronged volatility with the world markets and media attack going into another weekend

But hey what do I know ? I’m just a mere Pi, I’m sure Boo have a team far cleverer and knowledgable than me !

I’ll take either !!! A decent RNS would push this to £3.30 and keep it there. A rise into results of £3.50-4.00 then looks perfectly possible.

Which is still a good result but very disappointing for a share that was so strong at £4.15 and has had nothing but positive spin into results.

The current tech sell off is long overdue as the prices ballooned without the increase in actual performance and sales to support the rapid expansion in sp
