Boohoo men is a much smaller margin than either the female boo section or PLT... and I can’t imagine that many girls who would normally buy a £6 dress will be queuing up to buy a PS5 or redirect funds..

But I do get your point ... once the world is back open there will be more Reason to purchase, thst being said all the competitors and high st will also be back open so the monopoly will be over. But the way I see it / it’s a win win either way

@Harry - I am 110% certain (with no proof lol) that the new auditor has been signed sealed and delivered in all but name. There is absolutely no credible way Morgan Stanley would of purchased thr amount that they did without being privy to thst info. The level of due diligence and compliance required to complete a deal of that magnitude would blow most of our minds and that I do know for a fact having seen the required paperwork at a much much much smaller level !!!

Yeah of course any news is welcome a sit rep very much welcome. A simple land registry check / application planning with local authority should show up and proposed plans. I remember from before the last check showed that nothing had been submitted, might save you a journey, unless the sun is out and you fancy a ride down there

TCM.. the Factory has been done to death..

Apart from that my friend we know nothing else and asking the same question again and Again albeit in different ways will Warrant the same answers as that is all the info that is in the public domain currently

Can we get back to boo - this board is being hijacked by TCM and the responses. TCM I’m not digging you out, but the board has been occupied with little else over the last 48hours

I would suggest if an individual finds TCM somewhat irritating or contentious then the easiest thing to do is block or not respond.

I’m here to talk about Boo and our investments . What’s the general consensus ? I think quite a strong week ? Anything I’m missing -
1. Possible trading update week after next
2. News of a factory
3. Trading update 10th Jan

Nice to see a prediction actually materialise ! So I predicted £3.00+ close of play so at 3.04 I’m very happy indeed.

Usual weekend rules apply.. but if nothing serious..
next week should hopefully see a modest 3% rise allowing for the odd negative day Which will take us into £3.10+ territory

Finally a decent trading result update week after will surely be the catalyst to drive this from 3.10+ to 3.50

As with everything it’s only a half educated guess but it seems to be working for now!!!

But in response to a suggestion that people would sell based on the drivel that Others write on this board probably myself included!

If you are a new trader - read the Ft, follow the national news, look for trends, watch the futures markets, read the business Sections of the media outlets. Watch nbc news or Bloomberg... but for the love of god to do not buy or sell solely on this board !

That being said share expert has given some good tips before. But DYOR - do your own research springs to mind

There is a chap on here who lives or works opposite it who provides regular updates and checks the local council planning applications etc to update the forum, my bad I can’t remember his name !!

TCM - the issue with the factory is around the logistical aspect I believe as in planning / conversion and operation. Boo have already missed one deadline I Believe with this by previously stating that they had an aspiration it would be up and running by sep 2020. They probably don’t want to miss a second deadline.

It’s self funded from reserves of which there are plenty therefore the issue would be logistical rather than financial. I agree it’s needed but I guess they can’t announce what they don’t know

What has happened to this board in the Last week it’s been compromised by a load of worry warts stressing out brining Their endless anxiety to the boil for all to bear witness to.

5 blue days followed by 1 minor red day at 0.5% down and people are selling up and professing the end of the world as we know it. Okay slightly dramatic but you get my drift.

Anyone in now small medium or big is set for the next 6 weeks to watch a steady climb with some bumps along the way.

My analogy is this - imagine you’ve got a ticket to the cup final and there you are sat Wembley stadium. You are not gonna get up and leave in the first 15 mins because the other side score a goal! Be happy to be part of this journey enjoy it.

Cut out when it suits you etc profit of profit but understand why you are here at least and what you are investing in.

This board has had some beautiful nuggets of info previously and some exceptional views and points of opinion on all sides I might add to give balanced views.

But come on guys and girls 15-20 posts demanding explanations and predicting the end of the world every time the sp drops 1-2% ????

I don’t think it’s any reflection on you or your trading to of got burnt. Once Bitten twice shy - I got badly burnt by this share in Jan 2017 thinking I could make a quick buck on results, some naivety on my part at the time. This time around i got out on the day at a decent level more by luck I might add than skill!

However the caveat is this - the share has gone up 10%+ on decent results before, it’s prob 60-40 on gains or losses on the day. I put my hands up I don’t profess or understand why or what drives this outcome as 99% of the time the trading update is outstanding.

I concur bigmac I would suggest however there is a sensible middle ground to predictions.

It is ultimately guesswork however with a dose of market intelligence / understanding / data.

I agree £4.50 by tomorrow and nothing else isn’t particularly helpful to anyone and paints an often deluded unrealistic picture which I have previously posted about.

All that said, there is I believe room for an intelligent discussion with evidence fact based predictions

Predictions are a dangerous game, for those on this board that remember the last set of results all of us ! With the exception of maybe 2 on this board called it wrong in terms of numbers.

However in fairness a lot of us including me called it right in the 7 week build up.

If we can hold onto 300 at close of play this week that’s a massive win. Then a slow build next week to 310-15 and then a decent trading update hits that’s your 3.50 + auditor + factory update etc who knows where this could go ?

But it will go up and down along the way.. that’s the Nature of the market as we know. What’s interests me however is that this Share has been behaving differently to the rest over the last 10 days.

It’s been steadily on the rise whenever everything else is red.. MS have quietly been topping up in the background plus the investment from the 2 us firms.

Something is afoot I would suggest; I think a market leak somewhere along the way today sadly we as Pi’s are not privy to. But 5.4% at one point today, someone knows something and wants to get in before it’s out..

It’s the same mp calling for heads to roll that was vocal before - rehash of old news and more importantly funds not replying to her demand for comment... not interested - the money here is us now that’s what is driving this currently

Interesting day given everything else is in red including ASOS.. something could be cooking... add into the mix the build up by MS in the background

Sham great post ! And that’s helped me to understand what I was reading actually whilst trying to put a response together. I think the $5 was a bum steer by me!

I just picked a number trying to showcase the conversion to £ etc. Plenty of opportunity to consider. For me in the short term it is about the Sp demonstrating a period of stability above £3 for a protracted period of time.

Slow and steady wins the race 1-2.5% rise every other day would be great. We have this week / next week to get through, if we knocked on the door of £3 by the 1/12/20 that would be great!

The following week we see a potential trading update (remember not guaranteed) which if as expected is good could see a nice 5-10% rise which would push us to £3.30ish then a run up to Xmas with auditor and warehouse news.

However this share is like a Ming vase when it drops it smashes hard!!! So I for one am not privy to any demons lurking! But I would say for once it’s looking ok, been a spate of positive news recently and Morgan Stanley keep topping up on the quiet..

I would suggest they know a lot more than us! Could be building a chunk for a plethora of reasons. However I will hold my opinion on that before angleterre accuses me of talking tosh again !

? You’ve lost me ? A question was asked about what would happen if a uk company listed on a US exchange - I researched it online (I have never professed to be an expert on anything) and those were all accepted and confirmed actions that can be taken when a company lists on two markets.

So with respect wind your neck in when you start telling me I am talking ‘tosh’. I was merely replying to a question posed on here and bothered to look into an answer for the said person who asked it.

I like many others on here are just looking and talking aloud about possibilities hence the term ‘forum’. At no point have I said it will or would happen

This is a bit of cobbled together guesswork / research but my understanding is that there are several options -
1.You would get a straight conversion price for your shares I.e if it floated at $5 then your share would be whatever the £ equivalent was.
2. If they remained on both markets you could choose which one to stay on
3. They could split the shares and you would then get a higher number of shares which would be at a lower price but you would have more of them at a discounted rate
