I think a lot depends on Leicester as a whole in terms of the Local Authority, councillors, MP’s, media - if I was Kamani I’d be holding back pumping millions into an environment where I had been fed nothing but hostility from the forementioned parties. I can’t imagine in this current climate with vast empty high streets and vacant business premises there are too many billion pound companies queuing up

It’s not the sort of thing you can ‘forget’ .. they will be asked for an update at the investors call on the 14th - I am 100% confident they have it in hand, the question is maybe where that production hub will be , if it’s outside the uk it may be beholden on brexit talks, if it’s stateside for us growth it may Being discussed as we speak or if it’s uk Leicester or elsewhere

Dan agreed - the issue with Boo is that they don’t have the luxury of not updating the market for months in between trading updates.

I fully agree that some established companies do have that luxury. But boo is on a major drive to I still confidence with all shareholders both private and institutional and having come through a savage media onslaught that saw 50% of its Sp wiped, a partial recovery to then see that railroaded by PWC not going for re-tender.. I would argue they need to be releasing every single piece of positive news they Have..

Last week saw a strong start with a weak end, it ended where it started 3.07 but peaked at 3.26

Are we thinking an update this week ? Be interesting to see what the others do in relation to any updates.

Additionally , no report will be appearing until end of Jan 2021 at the earliest, therefore it just verbal and written submissions at this stage

I’ve changed my opinion on this with recent info. I actually think this will be far from car crash in relation to SP I think this has the potential to actually be a huge catalyst north.

Kamani will be appearing with his all star line up, able to showcase meaningful change and actions he has already taken and will be taking into the future to make him the industry leader on ethics and standards

He has had the wake up call that was needed in my opinion. He seems pretty serious about what he needs to do and where he needs to go to make things right.

Large funds may well look at the evidence and now feel the time is right to invest after he has set out in the most public forum you can find his blueprint of change

I should add i say this as a someone with a significant holding.. and I am hopeful something will come out next week

Dan you are probably right, the elephant in the room is this - with continued opening up of the world and a pullback with covid stocks (online) to put money into oil and travel etc it leaves us vulnerable not too mention the parliamentary piece.

Anyone who thinks there will not be significant decline with the sp is there are no updates between now and the 14th jan is deluded i am afraid.

Boo need to do everything they can to stabilise the sp between now and then. So even a rns like last year is a start.

There were outstanding results on the 30th sep and the sp tanked from 3.95 to 3.20 so please don’t say ‘ just wait till the results the financials will be amazing’. With this share that doesn’t cut it with the market

A Steady program of change and regular rns updates is what this share needs to bring back long term confidence

Dan I agree however I think any attempt knowingly to hold back news which could impact sp is not allowed. Interestingly no parties that I know off have yet released a BF update which gives me some comfort, perhaps next week we will see a number of them across online outlets which will of course prove positive to the SP sentiment

On a separate note Morgan Stanley are currently holding their largest holding at 6.48%

I am bothering as I am trying to understand this individual and why they have come to destroy a perfectly happy sensible Board and turn it into a place where there is no useful interaction or engagement left past, arguing with an individual who has multiple aliases.

Whether TCM has lost a substantial sum on boo, or is shorting i don’t really care I would just like them to either leave the forum and stop destroying it. At this rate I will be gone by next week which I am Sure some may be pleased to see! But there is no value or interest for me left communicating with fake profiles or scrolling through 15 replies to a TCM post to see any value of anything

Take some solace in that we opened on Monday at 3.07 and we’ve closed at 3.07 on firsts and it spiked at £3.26 this week with everything in between.

Not great but not a loss... there is a lot riding on next week keep the faith

Fingers crossed for a BF update and some positive Arcadia news over the weekend in the press

ASOS and Boo both down.. both missing a BF update, could be some synergy there. A lot of people may have bought in the previous 2 weeks expecting an update and build up 5-10%

It could come next week... or it couldn’t... either way there will need to be something positive next week leading us into the media onslaught that will follow regardless of how well KAmani performs

I have FOMO I think of cashing out and missing one of 3 substantial jumps that one just won’t be able to get back in without a heavy premium

Jay - everything you are saying is factually spot on !!! It’s just a shame we know the press don’t follow logic, I can’t see us coming through this unscathed. I’m not deramping or being negative just wiser from previous boo reporting

What I would say however is this.. boo know they are prob in for a kicking, and with the US investment will need to show some stability. That’s why I have a feeling that they may be holding a few cards up their sleeve to offset and fall in sp

I do have one conspiracy theory lol - they might be holding it in their back pocket in case kumani fu&&s up on the 14th causing a signifcant drop they may be holding this And auditor news back to offset any damage.. or maybe I’m overthinking it...
