Dan, am happy to listen to people whether they think it’s a buy or a sell, I just want to listen to an articulated educated argument or opinion on either side.

Not some wild, attention seeking nonsense that a 14yr old comes up with on tic tok! And lately there has been little difference that and some of the crap on this board

I am all for swapping opinions both good and bad.. not everyone will agree and that’s the beauty of a forum

However of late this board has some dubious characters who I doubt are even invested, sold at a loss or trying to buy back in by thinking in some far out deluded way that if they can convince others to sell the price will drop.

My issue is that it clogs this Board up with total SH&T!!! Filter filter filter...

I am genuinely concerned that some people would be better off in a ladbrokes betting shop than trading.. the incessant panic when this sp drops 1% after 2 days of near 5% rises.... do you understand how shares work? The intraday movements ? The factors which effect sp movements ? Do some homework or you will lose all your Money and very quickly

@PMan - thanks for that very useful.. I think whichever way we play it, there will be a media spin, however it’s not new news and his legal team will be prepared ! Fingers crossed as I genuinally think there is a danger of selling pre enquiry and then the news passing without a storm and then a March into Results

@BJ - she made it very clear in her report she wasn’t impressed - noting that he didn’t seem to take her interview seriously, doing it by zoom whilst being served breakfast on a balcony.
Secondly she stated that the company where showing a clear disregard to there shareholders in their actions led by him.

Am all for being positive on boo and their successes but let’s not be blinded by some of the obvious issues including how Kamani comes across for one notably when dealing with others he has no influence over.

The 14th does have potential to damage the SP that I would suggest is fairly factual. However for all concerned here including myself as a vast holder let’s hope his legal team brief him accordingly on what to say etc when he’s cross examined!

@hell yeah - I agree with all of that... the elephant in the room is Kamani testifying before government committee on fast fashion on the 14th December, no prizes for guessing the media with whip up a firestorm and that will impact upon the SP unless the runaway train is so powerful by then that any noise is drowned out

I would agreed PP1 and the fundamental issue that everything is cheaper online and high st shops won’t price Match online. In the end most people just used high streets as an online changing room before they went away typed it in online and found it 20% cheaper with Next day delivery.

There will always be a place for independent retailers and actually co-vid has made many high street far more community based and in fact increased their footfall. The big losers have been the Westfield’s / Trafford centre / bullring etc, the group that owns the bullring and Trafford centre has already gone bust

3% close on a Monday is still a great result if we can hold it. Still got loads of potential ahead this week

@GPJ - he posted beat all previous years or best ever - forgive me I don’t have the exact wording as it was deleted. That could be perceived as a statement of business outcome that could affect the market / sp outside of a RNS - no different to how Elon Musk was investigated by the Us authorities for his comments on Twitter around Tesla financial performance.

I don’t profess to be a legal expert around the AIM regulation etc but I would suggest I am on the right lines especially given that it was deleted.

However as always on these boards it’s only a personal opinion and one that may be way off !

The Black Friday RNs if it materialises will be good (2%) last year so at best a 8-10p rise if it follows the event of last year. What I would say is the world is very different to last December at which point co-vid was restricted to minor background news about a city in China. Very few business are currently reporting positive trading (outside of tech and home based functions) therefore It may be perceived better.

For me and I could be wrong (the Arcadia story is the potential pocket rocket here) if Boo looks like it could or may happen that right there is the 10-20-30% rise. Expectation is half the rise not the outcome ( fascinating piece on Tesla in the Sunday times business talking about exactly that - the expotential rise in stocks is very rarely related to fact or reason it’s normally on copycat behaviour and potential

He knew exactly what he was doing tweeting that then deleting it.. enough time for the media to pick up on etc. He needs to be careful though he’s sailing very close to the wind with aim regulation.

@superstar he’s offered them a £50 mil ‘loan’ to keep trading post Xmas. Which is likely to get bounced as there would need to be pension top ups as well

This will be good for the SP when there was the noise over new look earlier this year it added just shy of 8% to the SP admittedly not all of that held when it didn’t materialise.

However all sp gain is positive and I am expecting a raft of speculation in the media In tomorrow’s papers and business Sections, that will prick the interest of some main players i am sure.

Heightened interest next week + Black Friday rns update could see us in a good place..

@lunatic that dividend payment was a number of years ago I think ? Worse was the us investment firm who paid £350million to take it stateside and then sold it back to him for £1 after an epic flop!

@JD - circa 2017 Jambon was on here, with a guy called spicey who worked in retail. I was invested in boo at the time.

There had been a Tesla style out of this world rise for Boo from a penny stock to £2+ in a very short period of time. So yes If you are referring to those sorts of gains then I agree they are done.

Unless you bought and held in the very low numbers you wouldn’t of seen a particularly good return as a long term hold. However if you bought and sold on the dips then you would of

Long term who knows ? America / buy out / the list goes on the SP could of course double etc but it not shown any sign of that.

The only clear signs over the last 3 years are a rise to anything from late 3’s to early 4’s and then drops to between 1.50/2.50

The one thing that annoys me on this board at Times is when people say how ‘undervalued the sp is’ to who? The main market sees it exactly where it is so they don’t feel it’s overvalued.

The sp stopped rising long ago on pure financials and some holders would do well to realise that. I have sat through countless trading updates with exceptional numbers etc and still the SP hasn’t reflected it

I think we are finally gathering some momentum stateside and showing a clear path of transition to the brave new world.

My main test is this - let’s see the sp hold above £3 for a minimum of 12months then one could consider a LTH.

Major - the 30mil was a loan that in effect would of got them through to Xmas, this was before lockdown 2 .. so with lockdown 2 and the continued tier system it’s game over..
Interestingly you can see he from the media coverage and notable silence.. he’s not putting up a fight he’s accepted it’s the end of the road in my opinion

@Holal, they won’t be turning a profit on 4p items they will be turning a loss. However what they are factoring in is the allure and draw of that offer / if 1000 people click on that 4p offer - 10-20% are likely to buy something else Which of course won’t be 4p. Take solace in the fact these guys know exactly what they are doing when it comes to digital marketing they are some of the best in the world.
