At the end of the day I’d love to see a rise this week, probably a bit ambitious - however if this share has taught me anything over the years its this - just when you least expect it they Boo will throw something into the mix and the sp will jump!!!

I get your sentiment maybe we are splitting hairs my point is that for those that held off on buying or sold aren’t going to suddenly buy back in based on an extension of talks, anyway I can’t see many people buying between now and Wednesday regardless of any deal. Post Wednesday this could jump right up IMO

I agree with most of your post gggg21 but not strictly true reference Friday drop - ASOS finished up or level. It’s a perfect storm of brexit and this meeting and Continued savage media that is causing the
Drop and it will prob continue to Thursday (manage expectation) but from the week after it will be heading north up to results!!

BF was a missed opportunity: fact SP dropped on the absence of a RNS, that deleted tweet now seems cheap and again dodgy, sidestepping how established business normally operate

The lack of factory update, however rationale or reasoned is again not good as it’s caused a void of information, they said a factory by sep 2020.. not heard anything else

Arcadia interest - Fraser group confirmed interest with Debenhams over initial talks nothing more. Boo have just refused to comment when asked.

Now the reality is if any of the above had been actioned the sp would of risen But the usual wall of silence prevailed and now we see 10% drop in a week.

For all those that constantly preach on here about ‘ boo don’t need to communicate the figures will do the talking’ all that shows to me is that you are new to boo and know nothing Of their history.

Final comment it’s gone up 800% yes but that boat has sailed many many moons ago, it’s currently sitting 20p higher than it was 3 years ago, so I wouldn’t consider that a particularly good long term return.

Not correct Webba - Mike Ashley released an RNs this week to confirm he ‘was in talks’ to take over Debenhams. Boo could do exactly the same in relation to Arcadia.

And on the subject of borderline fraudulent activities - I would rather an RNS than a deleted tweet proclaiming best ever sales in the history of the company, followed up by no formal notification of that statement.

Yes Chris I’m aware thanks... however of late any % drop of 2+ plus has been shown in correlation of each other. I am guessing we are starting to see the withdrawal of holdings in the run up to Wednesday and a no deal brexit... same tomorrow and that’s 7% down this week (not scaremongering pure fact) so actually that is quite disappointing before we even hit the waters of next week.

This is why I get frustrated when this company release no news or updates as the sp leaves itself open to be hit harder than others

Webba - small beer indeed to a 27 member state party, however for the coastal state parties believe me it’s not small beer it’s as much about economic value as it is population sentiment around it. So my point was that 3-4 countries out of the 27 could well block any agreement or cause further disruption if all fishing rights were removed

A no deal will impact the whole market regardless of sector, however I think a lot of what is playing out in the press is bravado from both sides. The EU will lose all fishing rights automatically with a no deal which will be grave for them. Both sides need a deal, I think it will go down to the wire

Rio good post - however sales have little to no bearing on this stock price. With the PE as high as it is that prices in continued outstanding sales and growth.

Look at the last set of results - outstanding - Sp tanked from 3.90 - 3.20 in 2 weeks....

This share is in absolute need of constant update to the market to rebuild trust and faith amongst both institutions and Pi’s... maybe without all the scandal and media onslaught they would of had the luxury of being able to sit back but in the current climate absolutely not.

The absence of a BF update caused a sp drop of roughly 5-7% over the initial Build up to that date

It may well transpire he was advised to delete that
tweet by his legal team as it did not reflect true financial figures

What’s needed is this -
1. Rns reporting good BF sales
2. Rns around auditor appointment
3. Rns confirming talks with Arcadia like Mike Ashley released today

In the absence of any of those 3 then it will prob go back to £2.80 between now and Xmas. However i can’t see it going into results any less than at did at the last results which was £3.50-£3.80 so maybe you just gotta suck it up and sit back and ride it out for a few weeks..

For all the talk of sell now and buy back in before results.. it doesn’t work, I wish it was that simple. If any of the above 3 hit you’ve missed the boat

@ only king the general consensus is that it is down to Boo to release a RNS around Black Friday trading if they so wish. One days sales or weeks worth are unlikely to have impacted within 10% of the projected figures. So far none of the online retailers have released any BF updates, I would hope if something is to appear it will be this week but who knows. The main trading update is on the 14th January 2021
