I actually feel sorry for the people who got smashed with stop losses this morning. Absolute market manipulation played like a song! I’m just gutted I didn’t have any spare cash to buy on the 5%Dip!!! Oh well still blue today. Slow and steady over the next couple of days is my take on it.. 2-3% blue finish today.

Micky - results will be within 10% either way. So in line with growth, it may exceed in certain areas and be under in others. But in essence the results will be good but not out of this world exceptional

Good post Bobby, I tend to agree with you. Results alone won’t change the Sp, however if they are 1% off expectation the sp will go down. Bit I don’t think they will be off, I think they will be good but not out of this world as we know there was no RNS so we can expect within guidance

@Dan - for what it’s worth i actually agree with a lot of your posts, but it’s a forum - people will agree and disagree, simply by reposting amended posts that take up 90% of the Board won’t change the views of others. It comes across as trying to beat others into submission with your viewpoint

Some will agree, others won’t.. just accept you’ve made your point and move on to something new to talk about. If you feel that strongly which I understand, either sell up, write to investor relations or post on multiple forums about the same thing to share your view with as many that will listen.

But for now everyone on this board knows your views loud and clear on the matter.

I concur Darren, Scottish mortgage hold 11% of the fund in Tesla, so any catastrophic drop would not e too significant. It just seems to keep going and going 10% this week !

I’ve always been a short term trader 6-12 weeks on boo, and it’s worked well. I suppose my change of heart stems from the point that a lot of the reasons for the volatility have now passed. I think a lot will depend for me on next week, if it is slow and steady into Thursday I am more inclined to hold, or sell 50% and hold into 50%.

From a personal perspective I need to diversify my outlook but will be looking at a fund rather than individual purchases. Scottish mortgage seem a good bet, outstanding results last year. But again tech heavy - 11% in Tesla which accounts for a lot do their success and NIO.

A 10% rise between now and close of play Wednesday takes us to pretty much £4 on the nose..

I think That’s very viable. The question is whether to hold or sell before results, my head says to sell, my heart says this is going to keep going into and past results and if topshop came off this would sail into £5 territory. If one had sold at £4 that would hurt lol

A good indication that they are doing well I would suggest bodes well for next week

That is very strange generally people buy shares to make money, not buy to watch then drop but even better still to predict it and yet still hold
