Having read through all today’s posts I now have tears streaming from my eyes. It’s my wife – she produces copious amounts of skin dust and with the nights now drawing in I’m not allowed to open the patio doors. But some truly exceptional postings today – thank you - I’d say the best day in several weeks - and not just from the usual big hitters / ultras. And the passion!! Crikey, I was transported back to my wedding night ...til my wife appeared and violently put an end to all that... anyway....

Thank you to the passing village idiots without whom this board would just be a mine of intelligent discussion / information sharing. Thank you to my Lord and Master Ophidian, who like all the best Messiahs doesn’t need to say much or indeed say anything; his mere presence is a comfort during this seemingly endless dark night of the Avacta soul. Thank you to PL75 for drawing my attention to a different kind of SKIN a while ago (noted / happily punted)

I guess... I guess my question to Alistair in the upcoming Webinar would be on very strict instruction from my good lady wife: what colour is our game changing test going to be?

Finally, though it grieves me to admit it, the board's nemesis Alwaysweeing is right... and today rather than cut my investment by 1/3 as I was minded to do I increased it by 1/8 @ 155p bringing my total stake to £177.00. Cult behaviour. I just can’t help myself.

PL75: your Abingdon example is fine so far as it relates to a one-off test that a reasonably intelligent user completes without supervision. But we're not talking about an infrequent test, eg: pregnancy test which involves a comparatively small section of the female - sorry - 'people who menstruate' population. We're talking about a test that virtually every living person, young and old, male and female, gender neutral and trans (don't forget the trans - never forget the trans) will be carrying out with such frequency it will become as second nature as wiping your ar se. And in that case, unlike your Abingdon health example, it won't be remotely 'optional' to offer a 'plastic-free' device just to assuage the odd tree hugger.

If I've understood you and other square-jawed Avacta ultras correctly our test is going to be as ubiquitous as bog roll. Literally. It has to be.

So like bog roll it has be flushable. I can't see how it can be readily / safely disposed of any other way particularly by lazy dimwads like Leeds supporters who don't give a hoot about giant turtles or the environment. And if it isn't flushable then whatever it is it cannot involve a plastic cassette. We'd be buried in em within a month!

I'm so loathed to part with a single Avacta share that I'm starting to have bouts of complete seriousness.
Thankfully they soon pass but during the latest spasm something serious occurred to me - if the sheer number of saliva tests required to meet demand are anything like the numbers mooted by our Avacta Ultras surely this presents an issue of disposability? Ergo, could at least some of the delay account for having to design, redesign, re-redesign a product that is, for example, flushable? Or at least has the absolute bear minimum of non biodegradable / non recyclable materials?

Jwd is right to be concerned and tonight's announcement of a de facto curfew only reinforces that concern.

I'd be tempted to invest in Cineworld but for one deterrent yet to be acknowledged by most private investors - the increasingly unappealing PC obsessed product coming out of the major studios.

A quick skim through Rotten Tomatoes shows the growing gulf between what your average progressive Critic drools over and what the broad masses are willing to pay and see. What was once the preserve of 'art house cinema' is fast becoming mainstream but garnering nothing like the takings traditional mainstream film pretty much guaranteed. What might win a studio an Oscar nomination just doesn't put bums on seats. Why? Because most working class people won't part with hard earned cash only to be lectured on yet another minorities issue or made to feel crap because of some accident of birth. It's different for middle class critics on an endless privileged guilt trip - they'll happily pay to watch sh i te and to be made to feel sh i te. But why should their tastes be forced on the rest of us?

Sharing your verve and positivity Chengdo4 - I admit I wobbled like a weeble myself a few weeks ago but having now surrendered masncaped balls deep to the great Goddess Avacta I almost levitate with serenity - broken only when PL75 ends another sentence with "twat" or "scumbag" or "freak" I wonder what he calls posters he doesn't like?

Of course I'm used to language like this and far worse from the lovely unshaven lips of my good lady wife but I worry that on here it frightens the timid and the skittish away. Has he returned? Gentle Dave?

Hallster - I'm a simple man with a simple strategy when it comes to EUA - in till the final curtain. And if it falls on 28p all well and good. Anything higher - certainly anything x3 and above the current price - well sir, the milky bars are on me

Jake - these fine handsome pegs of mine would turn to jelly at 80p+ But I think the 'what's in the ground' case has been overstated. That's not a criticism of Rowka and others who painstakingly spell it out. But for me, there are international politics at play, there's the deeply uncertain global economic outlook, and there's a BOD who might just take the view that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Who wouldn't in their situation.

... waiting to land at a price to be determined. And we'll continue to circle at or around 20p for days / weeks / possibly even months. So my free and unsophisticated advice is - get used to it. And in the meantime, and for all the reasons ably set out by much wiser heads, relax in the knowledge that eventually we should all be quids in. But sadly not like the prices bandied about by our EUA Ultras (£3.50, £4, £5, etc)... but at least 50% higher than where we are now.

I can hear groans and moans - and it isn't my wife. But since when did a min 50% profit become something to be sniffed at??

Yes if you bothered to read his / her initial posts you'll find he / she is a good deal more bullish than I and others - certainly more bullish than he / she gets credit. His / her incessant provocations get a bit repetitive and tiresome, granted, but some of his / her questions and doubts are legitimate. Beats me why you don't engage him / her in debate rather than crying off like a plus-size blouse. Seriously - this board starts to resemble 1970's M&S women's wear at times. (Um... what I choose to do after dark is my affair)

JEsx - I have a question fo yo sorry a ss: have you revised your previously stated buyout price hopes / expectations? If yes, what are they now?

Ian - you do a fabulous job maintaining the EUA esprit de corps but there's a risk we wrongly exclude outliers like JEsx who are no less invested / keen to see EUA do well even if their posts tend to get a bit prickly

Some people in the general adult population - quite a few according to my wife - don't spit. They prefer to (I really struggle getting my head around this) they prefer to swallow. Ack! Now for saliva based screening to do its job this issue aint just gonna blow over in my opinion (DYOR)

Without getting ahead of ourselves my wife and I lay awake much of last night chatting via watsapp what she intends to do with our life changing windfall when this share hits £25 by Christmas - as guaranteed by several posters here last night without the usual IMHO DYOR etc disclaimers. She's set her sights on an impressive Argos Multi Gym which means no longer using me to bench press and any funds left over she intends to replace me with a simply stunning top of the range dart board. Both excellent choices from a lovely lady

But as I say - not getting ahead of ourselves. Lets get to £20 per share first people
