CCC, i agree 100% but thats business for you, there is always an element of risk in forecasting, you simply cant avoid it.

the guys who put the forecast together know that, would have took viable scenarios and said what they said.

and i could quite easily just flip that on you, you say risk is oil might drop to a level that makes their assumptions wrong, of course and i agree, but on the flip side who is to say oil wont be at $80 or $90 over the next few years to make their statements look ultra conservative?

where did i ever imply there is no risk here?.... i am fully aware and prepared that i could lose my investment

my point is these are the guys that have the most up to date info, their fingers on the pulse if you will, and what they said is what we should listen to, not someone on a blog who has been caught lying and defending liars before.........where is the sense in that?

do i trust the BOD 100%......of course not......do i trust them far far far more than Broadfraud......hell yes!

what gives BB the right to say anyone who listens to the BOD "need their heads examined"? does he know more about GKP than the GKP BOD? is he more qualified than those that made the statements? where are the workings behind his allegations? we all know the answers to those questions and if people are still wondering whether to trust the likes of BB, then like i said, more fool them

the ones that are negative now and have been since 83p are the same ones who were positive at 400p in 2012..........so i am not sure what you say is correct as it has no reference point in time.............at 400p in 2012 that was the time to be negative, at the post re-structruing 83p level, that was the time to be positive...............

you cant be negative now just because it used to be so much higher, that doesnt make any sense..................

you can have a negative frame of mind i guess, but thats not how trading shares works, you need to detach emotion, work out the investment case as things stand now and where they are going

so no my point is not "flawed".............its perfectly factual, logical and rational

but yes GKP is in the best position it has been for years and its not great that the SP doesnt really act accordingly, but like i said, if you are worried sell.......its that easy.......i am just going to hold and see how it plays out, i could lose it all, could break even, could make a bucket load of profit......with GKP anything could happen........but if all goes to plan in terms of the journey to 110k bopd, then GKP is going to a great investment at this level..............if that view is dangerous in your mind, well, dont really know what to say about that

i used the consolidation/dilution post as an example to how far broadfraud is willing to go to defend oilman. consolidation on its own has no dilution effects, none what so ever, but a certain poster was attacked by oilman for stating that. now oilman was categorically incorrect on this but broadfraud still came on here to his defence and posted some absolute nonsense just to stand by his fraudulent chum...........if you cant see how that shows his true character then more fool you

yes we were all hit by the restructuring, but some clearly havent got over it, while others have and look to the future. at the end of the day if you are getting frustrated and cant let go of the past just sell, no one is forcing you to say invested.

the info is from no one with influence as oilman knew nothing of the dividend, buy back or sami's departure in advance, he has also been caught lying about previous results. along with bigdog on advfn they were stating said results would be dire and insti's were selling because of them, but low and behold they were solid, no insti selling took place and the SP went up 20% in the following several days...............so again its clear its just titbits he is getting from the field and like you said its every day ordinary stuff but because it simply isnt understood by oilman then every bit of it is so dramatic, "juicy" and info we should all deeply covet

by now it should be abundantly clear to all he doesnt actually understand what he is posting and being told, but then that comes with having zero experience in the industry, plus a limited intellect.

sad thing is he believes everyone should admire him for having access to said info - he is a narcissist with delusions of grandeur, so anything to plump up the ego is fair game.

on the CEOs involvement, i imagine he did it because he is well aware of the nature of oilman, someone that unhinged, deluded and who has been coined a "dangerous fantasist" - its probably better safe than sorry you placate him with a letter or two as you dont know what lengths he will go to taking into account his state of mind

but at the same time too much selling would cause the SP to tank. if a billion dollar offer came in thats a very different scenario than offloading in chunks on the open market/at market price
