Jonners, you want to know 'why you should do it'. Rather than basing any decision on other people's views or reasoning, I am more inclined to say that you should do it only once you have made your own mind up to have a dabble following your own research, at a time that suits you and at a price you feel is right. That is the only 'why' and then it is your decision and pure, and your future position, be it profit or loss, is a result of your own ability to decide what you do.
These past months have been a test for those who have invested, especially with the general silence and negative market sentiment, even more so when other opportunities have been quite bouyant. For me, currently, news has to come in the relatively near future and on balance, I would expect that to be positive. Happy to carp from the sidelines at the lack of updates, not unhappy enough to say sod it and spit the dummy - but I am still up, even at current prices
