Will these be available to day normal folk?
Please no insults. But pls explain "placing", I've quickly read the RNS and got out at 200p on a chunky profit. How low will this drop and will it rise again?
@shatner LSE is so rubbish when it comes to RNS showing. Reading the RNS now, I wonder if this meams TERN companies are not linked with government app... or if another RNS might follow?
Link? Is this the reason for the drop?
11.5 on Google? Why the drop?
Yes but I’m talking about the UK government. If they go with Roche first, and are happy with Roche will they stick or require support for demand? Just wondering people’s thoughts on the situation with ODX now?
I’m very curious because after the Roche mention, does this mean we’ve been beaten to it, or, will there be room for us too if we get the approval needed? I was, and still am hoping for good news here as this is my largest investment and it’s increased its percentage the least. I was expecting an explosion in share price and I wonder your thoughts now Roche have been mentioned by the government?
I've already spread my investment across multiple COV related shares, including a small holding here in TERN. I like everyone hope to hear some news that TERN is involved with the government app. But I wonder if anyone knows of any other tech firms which are also in the running for great news?
Oh come on Seeth - let us know :)
I think the best thing to do is spread your money. I'm 500% up on GDR. Expecting big things from NCYT, AVACT, ODX, and SNG. Tern and Hemo are a larger risk but they could explode on news. Look forward ti rises across the board!
Take care.
@trouble I just have a gut feeling that 4 is the base level and can't see it going any lower. I'm also aware the figures are coming around, plus we never know, there might be more RNS's released before this ,which could catch people out (who like myself were considering waiting for them - (11th onwards)). So, nothing to lose from here and i can now sit back and see what happens. Im not in big but enough % wise for me to feel worthy of the shares in possession. I do value everyones replies, I just find the OTT hype a bit embarrassing and dangerous for people who might believe it.
Above all, stay save, save lives.
Oh, and I'm also in on GDR, ODX, SNG, HEMO (riskiest), and TERN. All worth a look IMO. I don't think there will be many investment opportunities with so much upside potential than this for a very long time.
You might not care, but Im sure those NEWBIE victims of your might! Anyhow, FYI, I am not deramping, I have just bought back in at 402! This proves my point I still believe in NCYT, just didnt see the BBC as much good and felt the hype around it was so OTT, to the point Newbies should be warned to avoid potentially losing out. The RNS will be the real positive news.
I am quite new to investing, yes. What difference does that make? I never once claimed to have much experience. My first investment was in 2017, I put in £20k. I'm not up on my COV shares and amazed at how much you all ramp so much, like desperate vultures in the desert waiting for new investors to come along. So yes I am new, but I have learned a few lessons which first time newbies might not yet have.
@Massive... how so? On Friday people were saying the BBC mention was going to spike the SP to £5 and beyond - just shows what you all know... No one knows, fact.
gggg I lost £20k which i had saved up yes, back in 2017. I've already , made that back on COV shares. Not sure what relevance that has here? I don't need to post on GDR or anywhere for that fact, I can just sit back and watch my profits rise. I will be back on board NCYT soon, but not just yet. Meanwhile, I have no idea why you would talk such nonsense. Oh wait, because you are trying to find newbie victims - NEWBIES be careful who you believe!
I literally cant believe how much utter tripe is on this BB. I was getting dogs abuse Saturday for my opinions, and people were saying this will open at £5, and £6 etc. Talking up the BBC mention like it was the golden ticket! Only for the price to stay the same! I was accused of being a child, making bad investments - all sorts of people branding me. Meanwhile I'm watching my GDR shares shoot up beyond 500% of my original investment (30p) and waiting for my opportunity to buy back into NCYT before figures are released, possibly to make a 30% gain.
All that Hype on Saturday after the Friday BBC mention people saying this will open at £5, and all that arguing aimed at me and the open is below 4 lol. Says it all. Rampers and delusional people.
@leddach and @Richie - finally, some decent opinions without insults. Thank you and I loom forward to seeing what happens either way. Take care and GL.
Just wrote a long reply and then my phone died lol. So quick reply from my laptop then I'll enjoy my day, I hope you all do too. So...
@Ponkey, thank you. That makes perfect sense and I appreciate your reply - I am a fairly new investor so trying to ask Qs and learn from honest people, thank you.
@ggg thanks for some decent input. FYI, I am certainly not a lair so would appreciate it if you kept your personal opinions to yourself. Again, thanks for your other comments some of which I found insightful.
@Theonlyway - thank you, a sensible prediction. I think I agree.
@sharedealer - thanks some great info - what you're saying is when you went in it was higher risk and now its safer, which I agree with so its a matter of valuing the new position of NCYT vs say other shares which might not be as big or mature that might be safe enough to invest on, for a higher return. But I appreciate your reply.
@Heim - thanks, will certainly take on board your tip of not selling on a friday.
@jordan - filter me it means you'll stop replying to my messages :) I am not a child, I am a relatively new investor trying to learn, isn't that what this BB is here to do, offer opinions, facts and to share tips etc? And begging - absolutely not! Asking Qs YES! This leads me onto a really big point:
NEWBIES:
If a new small time investor reads this, they might get dragged in by the hype. That's why I like to ask Qs, not just to learn but to hopefully get important nuggets of info for other small investors who do not understand rampers/derampers etc (I didn't to start with). On Monday, some first time investor might read this board and put his only £5k on open at say £4.5, it drops to £4, they get scared and sell and lose out. This is not right and this BB might have that effect on new small investors if ramped. People really shouldn't be trying to lead people up the garden path, of course people need to do their own research, but this board still MIGHT influence decisions. Lets not hype/deramp unecessarily. Afterall, its no longer the small £5k investors which will make this share price rocket its the big guns.
@Parkez if it at any point drops to £4 I'll prob be back in for the ride
@WL1516 Funny, I like :)
Anyway have a nice weekend all. Stay home, stay safe, save lives.
Take care
@don at last, some good conversation about this! Thank you. I agree it’s about demand and we already know the government are ramping up, but there’s the world market out there, and other shares improving offering and value and catching up! So I’m trying to establish which company in people’s opinions has the greatest opportunity based upon factors, and I can’t see NCYT being worth £8+ ever. £6-£7 tops is my guess. And it is that, a guess!
@sharedealer my average was £1.30. Back then there was less research to be done because there was less data, everything was more up in the air.
Is this BB not a place to discuss NCYT, the facts and hype (good or bad), and dare I say ask opinions?
To keep this constructive, I’d be curious of what you believe the true market cap is and why? And do you believe the BBC will impact the share price? Oh and can anyone tell me when the figures report is due to be published? Week commencing 11th, right?
