@magsy so you think there are no sub divisions within pharmaceutical and cov shares to be able to have a portfolio? There are antibody tests, antigen tests, tests from labs, tests from home, new drugs, and although a long way off, a potential vaccine, which will blow these shares away.

@heim - I banked 180-200% profit already in NCYT, so whilst selling Friday might be at a lower price than NCYT will hit, I’ve made chunky profit. My plan was to hop back in soon and before the annual figures which I believe from 11th May? So I’m just trying to understand, for anyone that can’t be open to discussing facts without fiction, if the BBC report was actually that significant and what impact it might have, if any. I do believe the next RNS will be very positive though

@bramley ok let’s revisit this In 2 months. If it’s £8-£10 I’ll take my hat off to you, but ONLY if it’s the only multi bag which we know won’t be the case, but then you are so Tunnel visioned, attached and deluded that you believe NCYT is the only reputable Cov share. FYI, I still might buy in because I do understand there are many great opportunities, just some are better than others and I don’t have a money tree (unfortunately).

@bramley, I’m not sure why people are so defensive and emotionally attached to a share, that you are only invested in to make money? I am NOT deramping. I AM considering buying back in.

I can’t stand it when people assume. And quite frankly if I am to mention a company to counteract your point that NCYT are not the ONLY reputable and backed business, then what about ODX?? Yes, I hold there and will sell after news drops as expect to at least double. But as I say, I’m spreading my investment and still considering coming back into NCYT. It’s funny how people’s assumptions and defensiveness can take a conversation in a totally unnecessary direction. My original point is curiosity and I just wondered how good the BBC mention is, abd was also hoping to get clarity on opinions, that’s all. Stay home, stay safe, save lives

@magsy I have a mixed portfolio which includes higher risk shares such as HEMO, but more solid prospects such as AVACTA, GDR, SNG, and as ive mentioned NCYT until yesterday. I’m just looking at the FACTS and trying to join the dots.

@magsy hmmm you’re kind of right, but kind of not. My first share which I made a huge loss in was due to Slovenia politics and there’s an ongoing law case so I should have been flying by now! But I’m guilty of going all in. So now, lesson learned, I’m spreading my bets and I do invest in solid companies. I only sold NCYT yesterday midday, because I felt it’s seen it’s biggest upward trend. Obviously 33% is a great return but usual stats are out of the window temporarily whilst this pandemic is going on, with as we know, pretty decent odds for multi bagging in reputable business waiting on news. So to clarify, my position on this is neautral I’m just curious of the opinions on NCYT and what might happen to help me decide for myself, if it’s worth going back in (or not).

@trouble - you seem aggravated by my Q? My reason to ask it, is to gather thoughts on people’s opinions to the upside of this share, based upon the BBC mention for NEW investors. Let’s be honest there are other good COVID shares (I won’t mention them). The last thing I want to do is set you up for a bad week old, but I sit on the fence on NCYT and if I can convince myself this is a good opportunity I might hop back in for the ride, if not, I’ll head elsewhere

@Rise - I think the government red tape opening the new lab (if it happened) would be a huge help, but this kind of thing would need to be made official first via RNS, wouldn’t it?

@chris - how is there more money to be made here if it goes to £6, in the same time another COVID share might multi bag? Again I’m not deramping! I’m actually considering investing as I sold NCYT Friday afternoon at 3.80!! BUT, I’m still not convinced that the BBC mention is that significant, or, that the upside potential for NCYT is more beneficial over a share that might multi bag (this certainly won’t be the case for NCYT).

All PR is obviously superb, and I don’t doubt this will help NCYT (not sure if this will directly effect the price at open)... BUT thinking in terms of Value and percentages, if it does, let’s say the share price jumps to £6, that’s 33% gain. If it jumps to £8 (extremely unlikely in my opinion), then it doubles in value, which I feel is highly unlikely and the best possibly scenario in the next short while. Surely for new investors this means because NCYT has already matured and stabilised and seen it’s largest growth rate, that investing elsewhere might be more beneficial? I’m not deramping at all. I think NCYT is the leading COVID player, BUT has it already seen it’s biggest rate growth and therefore has its day for NEW investors looking to make money from it? Thoughts...?

I'm still a small-time investor but building a portfolio. I just sold all my NCYT shares at a 178% profit. I put in £1k, and took £2,800 out, banked £1,800 and put £1k in here! Fingers crossed it works out and as I hopefully make more money, I can then invest more, until I join the many chunky investors putting in £5-£10k a time instead of just £1k! If TERN gets news about working with the government to create the app, I think it will be a wise decision and I'll be a step closer to my dreams. I think it's better to try and research and predict rather than follow the herd to get the big wins but a mixture of both is maybe ideal :) Fingers crossed and GLA.
