I guess we are in the Closed Period now with regard to waiting for final results. Could still have an RNS regarding asset sale or VAT decision, but other than that we are in a life boat adrift the investor season and it is choppy. THG, god bless all who invest in her.

The singular one and only thing that is going to make this share go up are profitable results!!! MM can say what he likes, promise what he likes, sell off what he likes, do all the tie ups he likes. It will not get out of this so-called value trap until he makes a Profit which looks sustainable and supported by healthy margins. ‘Big’ Investors don’t day trade, they want a healthy business that looks like they can put their money in for 5 years or more and see sustainable returns. That’s what APN has!

If the year end results are full of the usual bull… but no sign of a healthy profit and trend then we will stay at this price.

Again, the talk of him taking it private seems irrational. If he can’t make it profitable publicly, how can he do it privately. If he takes it private he might as well forever walk around with a T shirt on saying ‘Loser’.

He did say in January that he could pay a 12% dividend. At 32 a share that would be a dividend of 4p per share which would come to a total payout of, wait for it, £60m.

After finishing the day at 32.2 and after 4 years I’m still 70% down. I entered at, what I thought was the bargain price of 107. I guess if we had the leadership team that APN has, it would have been a bargain. But not here.

Anyway, tally ho, onwards and downwards!!

By the way some of you keep going on about MM taking it private. That would be the most narcissistic, selfish, sociopathic thing he could ever do at this stage. A true leader would honour those that trusted in him and make good on his promises. Those investors also include his own employees, BOD, family and friends.

If the shares are currently trading at around 37p and maybe went up to 50p, why on earth would he offer 170/171 as a takeover price. Because there was a fake offer at this number and Mouldy said, “it under values the business”? You’d be lucky to get him to 70 from 50. Or maybe the simple answer is the best, THG is just so undervalued right now and to make a killing he just needs to stay in.

Furthermore, to get him over 30%, he needs to buy over 74m more shares.

If big investors really thought him taking it private was the plan, this would go over 100 very quickly.

Or he could just stop charging and paying the VAT now, if he hasn’t already done so.

Just back from Tesco. I did think the MyProtein range was looking poor the last couple of weeks. Today I saw why. They’ve been selling it down ready for launch of a bigger newer range this week including Mars Snickers whey and many other lines. It has a full section to itself.

If the Mars news didnt move the dial then this won’t. We got this news yesterday and the share fell 3% while the FTSE rose 2%. Just more pennies for Ingenuity.

In other news. North Korea expected to name Kim’s daughter as his successor.

I wonder, is this where our great leader MM gets his inspiration from. Does he really believe only he can lead THG. One glance over at APN should tell him otherwise.

Ah, maybe I’m wrong. Should I be concentrating on Mattie’s millions. Who will think of the millionaires! Surely, for us all, it’s more important for him to be a billionaire than it is for us to survive. I really don’t trust this guy and wish I’d never heard of THG.

so right darth, what the hell is the chair and bod thinking letting the same person be the ceo of two companies that have contracts with each other. says everything you need to know about mm that he won’t extract himself from that. it’s as if he thinks the ipo never happened and it’s still his personal business. we’re lumbered with this ****show until he goes from remainco.

the year end comments from him and his team of useless dolts will be the bloody same, “this time next year rodney”.

Crafty, you are well informed but do touch base with reality now and then. The FTSE 250 is up 125 points as I write. Most companies are Green, THG is Red ie down. If 36p is a buying opportunity, why is no one buying?

Many of the things you quote are right up there with that all time favourite “about to sign a whale “, or MM’s latest hit, “Remain I can pay a 12% dividend”. It’s all just thrown out there to give us hope while he schemes to enrich himself further. The value discrepancy with APN really should be impossible, but there it is.

If only someone with know how and credibility could take over at Remainco, like Terry Leahy, the SP would triple over night. But it’ll never happen as MM will be outed. Disgrace of a BOD the lot of them.

Hey morning Crafty, thought I’d just let you know that this morning APN is worth £30m more than THG. Which amazing THG strategy, prospect or BOD member do you put that down to?

Crafty, and yet the share price is 37p ????? Doesn’t look like other investors are as upbeat.

Crafty, ingenuity and THG have the same CEO and that person gave (forced) THG into a 10 year contract with Ingenuity, with the worst of rates. A contract I’ll wager it is difficult to get out of if THG ever got a proper CEO and Chair. Prove me wrong on this? Preferential treatment it is not. Being well and truly shafted it is. Again, you or investors relations can issue data to prove me wrong. But we both know MM follows the royal mantra, ‘never explain’.

As the Management team have over the last 5 years spectacularly succeeded in running THG into the ground and then some, THG are happy to payout over 40m new shares and thus dilute their hapless shareholders even further.

You really couldn’t make it up, but then at THG you don’t have to.

Have you also noticed APN closed with Mkt Cap of £596m while THG finished at £632m. Pitiful !!!

Given the Sales of each business it tells you one is successful and the other, THG, is broken. If we were remotely as well managed as APN we’d be at 400. Our best current forecast is 80. For all of you who keep saying, this is about to re-rate, forget it. If it was ‘about to re-rate, our SP would not be so low.

We are so screwed !!!!
