So right Stan, with Warpaint and APN worth more than THG it just shows that as far as Analysts/ II’s are concerned, THG is a ducking basket case.

Making money from this investment for most will be getting as much as possible of what you put in out again.

If there is one question that can be asked which would give insight into the financial direction of the business, it is this.

“What is the forecast dividend and/or share buy back forecast for H2 and full year”?

Simply how they answer this question will tell us whether they are on track or expect to duck up again this year.

Yes let’s look at what the Chairman and CEO say;

170 fundamentally undervalues the business, about to sign a whale, post demerger will be left with two highly profitable businesses able to pay dividends and MyProtein is worth more than £600m, etc. They should release an album of their greatest lies. And all the time the SP goes lower and lower.

Constant lies about jam tomorrow are not what serious investors are looking to hear. They want results not words.

Onsolid, THG paid £60m for MyProtein and it’s now worth about £100m at best. That’s the reality. Not such a great investment?? The rabid mutterings of MM and his selfish management of the business don’t change that.

A number Stan brought to the discussion that sticks with me the most is that the ‘market’ values APN at approx 18* more than it values MyProtein.

That is just astonishing and what I hope someone does at the AGM (looking at you II’s and Analysts) is to honestly and without reservation peel back as to how that situation has come about!!

I think the answers to this will in themselves clearly highlight the failings of all the BOD. But mainly how, in manipulating business decisions for his own benefit, MM has damaged the whole business. As I’ve said before, if he and the BOD made decisions based on what’s best for all shareholders, then he himself would be in a better position today.

Will these 3rd party company logistics updates result in a reduction of supply and shipping costs for THG? This is the only question to concern ourselves with here.

If they didn’t accept £600m a month ago just for Nutrition, why would they consider £680m an acceptable offer for Nutrition and the much more valuable Beauty. That ‘rumour’ is a non stater.

If we are having a first half where we are on target then it’s not difficult to start restoring confidence in the business.

State now that year end earnings will not be eaten up by Exceptional costs.

You will start a share buyback now.

There will be a dividend this year.

You are on target to eliminate’x’ costs this year.

X Y and Z sales initiatives are doing well.

You know, normal business stuff!!!!

Here’s a thought, I know you’ll think me naive for saying it, but how about running the company as if you were professional business people.

You know, you have a plan, you work hard, you operate with openness and integrity at all times, you make tough decisions, you have no sacred calves in work and people, you competitively tender and get the best price for everything, you don’t do anything unless it is clearly profitable, you keep investors informed and engaged, you learn from competition, etc.

I could go on but you get my point. You might even find it less stressful and produce better results.

Might I suggest you first look at the last 3 years of management behaviour at Rolls Royce and APN.

What’s the bet that there is a positive update of sorts just prior to the AGM. The aim being to persuade us that “hey, looks like we’ve turned a corner “, therefore why vote any of them off. Only for it to turn to sh##e a week later.

@Money, but that’s the point, we have been patiently awaiting updates over the years; and with each one we’ve had disappointment and a declining share price. The jam tomorrow just doesn’t end with these two. I have no faith that they will ever deliver any retained earnings, let alone retained earnings showing YOY growth.
