The resale value of the car on my drive, which I fully own, is £18k. But this guy called Marty came along and said I can buy it for £12k if I pay in cash now. I mean what a brilliant deal. It reminds me of THG Shareholders and something called a demerger deal for some reason.

Yeah but, 73% of SFA is still (checks notes) SFA. The only ones making gains are those that bought their Ingenuity shares a second time.

The FTSE 250 is down 0.6%, APN is down 0.6%, THG is down 2.6%. The ‘shorters’ were right, always an opportunity to play THG.

Good to see talk of Ingenuity being worth a notional 80p/share. Before the demerger, I owned 300,000 shares in everything that was THG including Ingenuity. That should mean that I now notionally own £240,000 worth of Ingenuity; only I don’t. The company took that part of my ownership away. It does concern me that they might do that same trick for MP or Beauty. The sell for this sleight of hand being, the remaining business would be highly profitable and dividend paying. Still waiting for news of when?? So, lost Ingenuity and as yet SFA in return for it.

So much for all the potential news about to break. Sounds like more Ingenuity whales doesn’t it.

I’m not sure I’d use the word stolen but let me say this. When we owned shares in THG which at the time included Inguenuity, we therefore owned Inguenuity. When Inguenuity was ‘taken’ there was no vote, no purchase of my stake and no shares in the new standalone Inguenuity. Why should I buy shares in a business I already hold shares in?

I’m sure it was all legal therefore it wasn’t stolen. But it was unashamedly ‘taken’. And, even now the rationale of a better performing THG with Dividends and Buybacks, etc has not materialised.

MESSAGE TO ALL PRIVATE INVESTORS …. STOP SELLING !!!!!!!

The Rolls Royce share price didn’t get where it is today in one jump. It got there over 3-4 years and a thousand daily incremental moves. I think THG has turned that corner now and is beginning the slow journey onwards and upwards. There is a point today for all the other investors; is now the time to get onboard??

Jed, it’s good to learn, about BOD Closed Periods, not just for Results.

Just thinking about the BOD at JAM.

They should be able to align with the APN model and they also have the resources to do it better. So why don’t they? Why does the market have supreme confidence in APN and treat JAM as a complete basket case?

I think it is because the JAM BOD’s view, or opinion of themselves, is totally detached from the share price, their performance and market expectations.

I bet they pontificate with and ingratiate each other as if they are commercial masters who, better than anyone else, know what’s best for this business. If there is a whiff of arrogance from anyone in those meetings, it is totally undeserved. The conversations must be quite jaw dropping if we were to hear them. What more can Lord Lucan say to contribute constructively and justify his position.

The whole lot need clearing out and MM needs to go sit in his business, ingenuity, and have zero to do with THG. Then bring in some professionals who actually know what to do.

Well if that’s true Stan then we should be worried. Paranoia comes from vulnerability, which itself comes from weakness. This sort of behaviour would suggest there is nothing substantial (turnaround) on the horizon. 😲
