Boraki, I was being facetious. Every piece of good news here is met with a price drop. The cash position matches the share price with none of the licences or commitment by IAMGold factored in. Even at 1.0p a share this is cheap considering the potential upside. May take a while but this will multibag from here imho.

Money AM is showing considerably more sells than buys in the last hour. Can’t believe sellers are aware of what’s going on at the moment.

The share price dropped on a decent VAT refund. Why would anyone think it’s going to rise when a billion £ gold major starts a drilling programme to potentially progress to extracting the value out of the ground ??

The mcap is not far off cash position, doesn’t take into consideration companies assets and licences. Add in a gold major willing to invest a major chunk to get one of those licences producing and mcap should be way higher.

IAM Gold drilling Dalafin. Results expected this year. This is about to take off on positive news.

Just about getting the buzz going now. Think Q1/Q2 at the latest SP should start to motor on up.

So me saying it will go to 1-2p is a complete guess and nonsense but you saying it’s more likely to go 3p +. Is ok then. Very balanced ????????????

Posting that report gives Kabisko more credibility than I had previously given him credit for. Only scanned the report but there were enough red flags to have put me off investing here had this been posted before I bought in.
So where does this leave us? Is there any prospect of recouping anything at all? We can only hope the govt can in some way do the right thing in an effort to stop investors being discouraged from the area.

Nigoli, not sure if that deramper statement was directed at me, but I’m happy to wait this out. I’m with Somm on this. No news for a number of months will in my opinion give me better entry points than this. That’s not to say the current entry point isn’t value for money because it is.

Good luck to all investing. I think the consensus is that we won’t see much of an upturn until spring next year, so for everybody buying before then it’s a game to see just how low you can get in at. Unless there’s some unexpected news about to drop before then, I see the SP being chipped away . The only decision is when to go back in. At 2p I average down to 3.17p per share and if I invest the same lump sum at 1p it drops to just over 1.2p. It’s a game of cat and mouse for me, the lower I go I can serial in the first positive news and the ride my free shares.

If you bed and isa a share at a loss Bhargav I believe you can put that loss against any capital gains you may have made elsewhere.

If BZM own the land is it not similar to a leasehold/freehold situation? As such whether they own the port or not, a financial agreement needs to be made to be able to use it.
Julian Cheong is on record as stating BZM own the port, so who do we believe, the ex CEO or someone on a bulletin board? I’m not saying Walko or Kabisko are lying, but are we really placing all our trust on bulletin board members that talk in code? Do we really believe that we have two in itk’s on this board when CS, Hudson and BZM are playing this so close to their chest? For Walko and Kabisko to be correct they’d pretty much need to be in the govt or involved in the ongoing conversations in some way. In the same way you wouldn’t invest on an unknown board members advice take a lot of this with a pinch of salt. It doesn’t matter either way now, shares are suspended, we get what we get.

You wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend. News incoming, and JV with top 6 oil company about to be announced. This will be £100 this time next week, but get in now as not a lot of shares available at this crazy low price and most in sticky hands. Big institutions about to go in big.......

Thought I’d take a stab at ramping seeing as everybody else seems to be

Hudson want their money back and whatever they can get on top. Do they do that by having a fire sale or by negotiating a deal. We were told the conversations taking place were with a view to get the best deal for Hudson, BZM and its shareholders. Whether that’s a good deal or not, hopefully there’s a deal to be made still and from a purely selfish standpoint I’m hoping it’s above 0.56p/ share.

Maybe being a bit naive, but surely the port at a knockdown price has value to more than one bidder, and as such even $30m received for it sees CS loans paid off and operating capital for BZM. I’d like to think that the port might even get bought out by the government seeing as major investment is going into the country, and at a premium to the $30m it would take to pay off the major shareholder and keep us a going concern. This isn’t dead yet.

Only a guess, but when the fat lady has her solo at the end of the opera, the show is over.

Not sure many of us were expecting CS to continue funding. As such it was always about monetising the port or the other assets. The fact we have an interested party is positive. It’s in CS’s interest to maximise the sale price, and a port in this neck of the woods is a valuable asset to hold. On the other hand, the third party will be aware of the desperate position we are in, so what value do we attribute to this asset? For CS they’ll be looking to recoup their investment, but with $250m being invested in the assets over the years, every a lo-ball offer equated to a rerate in the penny/ pennies per share.
