I think we would have been told by now if an unacceptable offer had been made, and that would have been equated into a share value, albeit one that would have been rejected. As such, I honestly think what’s going on behind the scenes is an attempt at a workable solution for all parties involved.
For those that were in from the 80p days I can’t see a positive resolution for you, but myself I’m averaged at about 0.56p and I’m at least hoping to come out of this unscathed, and hopefully with a profit, though no idea what ballpark that will be in.

The feeling I got from the article was it’s been 9 1/2 years and he’s got no idea how long before we get the licence if at all. Then they’re searching for lithium. Either he’s a master of understatement, or a half empty glass kind of guy, but the words he uses hardly inspire you with optimism.

That said, I’m still hopeful of a positive resolution and major re-rate, but think the company could at least time to time give us an idea of what they’re working on whilst waiting for ratification. As for wasting company time, I would guess it would make a minuscule impact on the relevant employees working day to update shareholders once in a while.

I know this site isn’t particularly up to date, but a quick calculation of about £400 more sells to buys has seen a 9.09% drop in the share price. I just wish they’d put us out of our misery one way or the other.

Not deramping as I’m invested, but the way the article reads is there’s not a lot that has changed that will see an imminent boost to the SP.

Kabisko, With all due respect mate, taking the word of someone on a bulletin board who can’t direct you to his research would be thick. Unless you can back it up then people will take what you post with a pinch of salt. Also, investors might already be 60/70/80% down or more at this point, so whether you’re on the money or not, they’re in it boom or bust.
I never trust a poster that gets shirty when investors don’t take their word as gospel. Why should you care whether anyone believes you or not. If you’ve told the truth you’ve done your bit and can rest easily that you took the horse to water, but it alone chose not to drink.

I can only see this going down after that.

I’m maxxed out on my ISA where I’m holding BMN shares and have decided 2 1/2yrs into a 3 year work share scheme (Centrica) isn’t going to generate a penny profit, so was looking to invest a 3rd block into BMN.
My question is, is there a certain time such as eg Monday mornings etc where for instance the MM’s are searching for stop losses and the ASK is likely to drop from the current 41p?
I still see 41p as excellent value, but having averaged 28p I’d like to get as many shares for my money as possible, and I know I can set a limit trade in my account, but I’m fairly new to this having not invested on the stock market from about 2000- August 2018, so whilst the fundamentals of investing won’t have changed a great deal, the available technologies will have. What are your thoughts on trying to maximise the amount of shares?

Lol, @Taffevans. The post I was responding to just stated the share was going up and up. God knows where that went ????😂

I wouldn’t say the SP just goes up and up Taffevans. It’s had a surge and now levelling off until further news imho. That news is likely to value the resource in the ground and we should hopefully see a rerate and a further one on funding. After that it’s either hold for the long term or sell, reinvest and return before when the mine is close to completion.

Is it likely to address/update on Oriole prospects

MrP, as far as you are aware, was the process of allocating Buritica a +$1.16bn NPV just going through a similar feasibility study to the one planned for ANZA, or was there more to it?

Any reason why ratification not yet completed? Am I wrong in recollecting one of the other licences was approv d about 2 weeks ago? Why the hold up here?

Tilburn, I’d be more than happy with a 100 bag from current price, but think that might be a little bit on the generous side. I’m hoping though that you are right though. What are your timescales?

Mr P. You ask how much will Newmont pay for the remaining 80%? My understanding is the deal has been structured for Newmont to own 80% following certain agreed payments. So is the question how much they’re willing to spend on top of these agreed payments for the remaining 20% ?
I’m fully invested here, so obviously I’m hoping I’ve mis-read the structure of the agreement and hence the size of the potential offer if it comes.

I think it’s Newmont all the way as opposed to a sale another party, as if they exercise both $4m investments any other interested party is bidding for a minority share.

As you say BigBear, £4.5m Mcap, assets worth over £100m, surely at worst a derisory offer is going to value this at 3/4/5 bag??
