YEs i think you are right. Every so often there comes the defining moment for a company and in this case the people behind it. And i think this is it for Predator, Paul and Lonney. the next RNS could well be it. I would suggest they take their time and get the wording absolutely correct without any ambiguous or equivocal statements that will later need correcting or be misinterpreted, It could means millions on or off the market cap.

I have no idea how high this share could get but part of me is almost scared of reaching those heights.I would hope that we hear something in near future. The only thing i want is to know that the find is "monetized " well before xmas. I would hope by then to have a clear idea as to what we have and a clear boundary of what is it worth. ( a sale price would be best) Plus an idea of the fields not yet explored / appraised / exploited .

A much over used and hyped word on these BB's is transformational. This could genuinely be that share. As i say this scares me a bit but also excites me,

Can anybody else confirm this is oil. I am not sure if we were expecting to find oil at all so this maybe a little Brucie Bonus there again it might just be a puddle of black murky water.

1) An RNS next week that gives us an indication of what has been discovered.

2) RNS stating that talks are on going positive and advaned.

3) An RNS mid to late November that an agreement had been reached in principal. Maybe even a down payment for a percentage of field. An early December special Dividend. £1 per share would be really nice but 50p would do me fine.

4) Full RNS with agreed price for sale of field by middle of December.

Now that would be nice. YEs maybe a bit dreamy but one must have dreams. OK PG over to you to make it hpppen.

Maybe i am being a bit naive but i am really quite hopeful that we will get something really quite fulfilling hopefully before xmas. Now that really would be a nice xmas present. So if it is not too early for Dear Santa letters here is mine and let us hope that this time it arrives on time.

I think it sums up how the O&G industry regard Malcy and these other output forums such as the LSE interviews. They are there for promotion purposes not for news purposes.

I would be more worried if he did talk to Malcy at this time as i think it would show he turned up a dud and was scrambling around looking for a solution. PG has no need for that he has what he needs and does need Malcy;s promo to highlight it.

So my rule of thumb is (recently formed as i have been stung too often( the more a CEO appears on Malcy blogs and LSE chat shows the more likely it is they are scrambling around for support and probably about to do a share placement.

I would tend to agree with JH in that too low a volume for their to be a leak. Just interest picking up. I think this is everyone just trying to position themselves properly before the real fun starts very possibly next week. Some people offloading a few very probably trying to feel out the market and a few decent buys but nothing to shout from the roof tops about. Small increase in percentage is about right for this share with so few in non sticky hands. Hands will start getting stickier over the next week or so and at some ;point i am sure there will be a leak it is just a matter of reading the tea leaves properly.. If i only knew how. Is it ;possible that Pred have been asked not to drill by someone around the table and they will negotiate around what they know and what they suspect at a fair price. The threat of drilling may just have brought a sharpness to the conversation.

Personally i doubt it just thought i would throw this into the mix.

Do we have any one on the ground with the Morrocan Oil and Gas Summit. Just wondering what the atmosphere is like. I would guess there should be a large surge of excitement.

The drill could be in its ninth day but also it could be in its 13th day on whether you believe the 16th to be the date or whether you think that the first lot of option RNS.s was the starting pistol. Personally i think it might have started around midday local time on Friday 13th and the first of the RNS options was an indicator.

1.8bn I hope that is for a down payment against say 5% of the field. I would be a tad disappointed if that is for the full extent of our find.

I have been thinking through some of the comments on here regarding Pred and the Morrocan Oil and Gas Summit

PG would have to have to be plain mad not to be attending. Also he has to be able to contain the narrative as (unless i am misunderstanding something) this is biggest find of gas or oil in Morocco for some while and is potentially one of the biggest finds ever of oil and gas along with the finds in the middle east during the 60's i think it was.

PG would have to be there as will most senior executives of the big O&G companies in the western hemisphere either in person or the N. African / European senior exec of those companies wanting to get an inside track on the drill as it is going on.

Now PG not speaking and PG not scheduled to speak and two completely different things. My personal view is that PG will speak because he will have to speak. After all it is his narrative and who best to contain the narrative, good or bad, than him. It will be impossible to keep this story down especially a week to 10 days into an appraisal project of this that is this close to the surface.

Therefore there will be an RNS probably on Tuesday morning. What will it say i do not know but i think in most likely probability is that it will be a holding one. I hope it will give some idea as to expectation against original thought and an indication as to size subject to finalization of appraisal drilling and the return of results and that discussion is on going with interested parties.

I reckon an announcement at the O&G conference with an RNS on Tuesday morning if we have struck anything. If we have not am not sure what will happen.

The next RNS will decide if this share goes on a run or falls flat.

If we have come up bare then i would want them to say so but TBH i think this is unlikely to the case.

However if we have struck we will need time to evaluate and to talk to any potential suitors. This would be the holding RNS i would expect maybe enunciate a bit about what they expected against what they have found but by and large it would be a holding RNS awaiting outcomes. This would i hope give this share a chance to run. Am not sure if selling at this point classifies as de risking or not.

IF we fail to hit or we find very small amounts this share will fall back a bit and hopefully PG will have some news for us regarding Ireland and Trinidad to at least let me get me my money back.

If we hit small to medium amount anything from value of 500m through to around 2bn i would guess that much of an agreement has been signed off or agreed as this is well with in the Petty Cash box for a major oil company.

Even between 2bn and say 6.6bn ie (10bn usd) This is well within the cash flow management of a large oil company especially with price of oil going up in this volatile market. So i do not envisage too many issues at this level either.

The question i have to market people here and also oil people who have been here before (with a decent find). Would the shares get suspended (temporarily) on news of a major discovery and how long would it be suspended for as it may take a lot more than a few days to identify parties and then start negotiations. Or would the markets just run on the rumour mill until someone turns up at the table with an agreement. Thoughts please..

These days i have noticed there is no chance of buying and getting a rise before results or a big one so that one can de risk. I do not think the stock markets have enough bouyancy in them to cover this kind of exploring any more. Once you are in with these you are in with very little wriggle room to get out I am afraid.
