There were allegedly about 40 other operator parties interested in Anchois and ENOG have agreed there is gas there but not enough for them to continue. So the project would better suit a smaller operator. Hopefully Chariot will not have to persuade the Ministry to let them have 75% as you suggest and the hope there is just maybe it has gone quiet while discussions are taking place with a smaller party to take over from ENOG ? It took months to sign up with ENOG and could do the same again. I thought it would have been fair, however, to let us know if talks were taking place, but there again if they fail the BOD would again look bad. Let's hope the quietness has good reason. I am hopeful but not enormously so !!

2024 according to BOD will be a very exciting year. 10 pence to 1.8 pence. Very exciting indeed.

Although they have apparently never made a bean, the BOD have looked after themselves and Any "good" news has usually been backed up by reputable outside organisations so is it just bad luck? and will this continue to happen so they can keep their fat salaries? Will the sp ever get back to 26p or 70p or £3? I guess the latter would take a miracle.

I've decided not to sell at this level hoping for a miracle. Already down 40K hardly worth recouping 15K at this stage as it could go either way.

I have only held these shares about 5½ years. First purchase was at about 4.4pence Apr 2019.

They have moved up & down a lot in last 26 years. Don't appear to have EVER made any profit.

So they go up with good sounding news which turns out to be rubbish and so go down again and that cycle just goes on and on and.........

Everybody is guessing Harry, including you. The contract Char signed with Enog should have had a clause stating what happens if Enog want out. Whether they can sell on and under what conditions. Does anyone here know?

Surety an interesting article you posted re PCNS dated 20th December 2024. Entirely in French but you seem to have translated a section concerning Anchois. I have a translation using "Web Translator" which marries yours --

"Morocco, which is currently a very small gas producer, is expected to bring the Anchois offshore field into production in the coming years. The consortium, composed of Energean, Chariot and the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (Onhym), has not yet made a decision to develop this field located on the Lixus Offshore block. "

This is current and if can be trusted, Enog are not walking away from it yet as a "decision has not yet been made" but we could still be some years off production. But it sounds like Anchois may be far from a write-off and as JT says below, news on the other pillars will likely be more relevant short term.

Let's hope we hear something good soon before Char run out of cash.

Harrycarter you are a strange person. You spend time talking this share down in such a way that says you cannot possibly be a shareholder and certainly should not consider buying any. If you had any you surely would have sold them. So what is there to gain by doing this? Are you trying to assist pushing the sp down further so you can buy a few million cheaper or should you be making an appointment with your doctor? Must be one of the two. If the second option is out, then these shares are looking really good to you and you are in effect recommending them.

You've been a member only since August 2023 and made 95 posts, possible all on Chariot. As you are not allowed to have more than one username on here you are only posting on Chariot or breaking the rules (which is probably simple if you use 2/3 PCs tablets and .phones). But if you are breaking the rules, then the chances are you are also making all this stuff up. That is most likely, because there is no benefit to you unless you really like this share. - unless of course the answer is linked to some serious medical condition. Assuming you are medically ok, I thank you for giving me confidence in Chariot shares.

I reckon Char will be out of cash in a few months unless they come up with something. Sell their rights in Namibia / sell their 49% in Etana / farm out Loukos or find another party for off-shore. The only other option is to do a raise which will go down like the Titanic. .... unless they come up with some amazing positive words to kid us all into putting more money in (not me!)

Hi Surfit I've been looking at Etana Energy to try and find out more about them. 49% owned by Chariot and 51% by H1 Holdings. I've sent them some questions but getting answers is not always easy.

I've asked things like what is Etana worth and does it make any money. What assets does it own. Who owns all the solar panels and wind farms. If Char owns 49% there must be some value there and presumably Char will eventually receive dividends or will share in any profit. They are trying to attract commercial end users to purchase Etana's energy via the grid so how many customers do they have currently and is the customer base growing and how quickly.

Does anyone here have any such knowledge?

It all sounds very good in theory but no info' on profitability. Their energy is claimed to be cheaper than existing suppliers of electricity and of course far greener.

They quote they are trusted by 5 leading SA Companies but no details about income generated.

Fernan/Surety If Char was to go bust a receiver or liquidator would possibly sell the 49% of Etana that Chariot owns. It could be sold to the holder of the other 51% or even another independent Company. Etana may not be affected as it should be able to continue as it was.

Fernan your analysis sounds logical. Julian Maurice-Williams CFO has only 717,799 shares (less than me) so when you listen to his latest up-beat interview below one wonders why he doesn't spend say one month's salary on a few more ?? £24,000 Net salary a month would buy him enough to treble his holding and back up his big words. The mind boggles. When the shares were 20p each the value of his holding was about £120,000 but that is relative peanuts compared to his annual salary over several years. AP of course has about 9% of the Company which has lost over £15m for him over the same period.

One just wonders what on Earth they are up to ???
