It is almost 2 years since Char sp went from 8p to 22p in the space of a month. Now we are back to 8p ? Can anyone remember why it almost trebled in 4 weeks?
So far as I can see, the differences between then and now are as follows :
We were not set up to do the development then (expertise and dosh) but now we are with a good partner.
We now have more cash in the bank with a "promise" of more to come.
We have an additional licence on-shore which is weeks away from news.
We are nearly 2 years nearer to smelling the Anchois gas.
We have reports from analysts all with good expectations of an eventual sp of around 50pence
So we seem to be in a far better place now than when we were 20pence !!

GP I have a good feeling about next week. Apart from a Pizza with Pineapple and a Jack Daniels I think we have seen the low point of Char's sp. There is so much news now to arrive over the next few months which is unlikely to be negative that I believe things will get better.
I'll wager that has built up in the background ready to stick on here late. Maybe a reason for the poor sp for ages. I doubt it will affect opening sp on Monday. Now that is out of the way we could have a better week, next week.
Have a great week end all !
I've seen it said on here that the sp is where it is because that is what the market thinks. So it must be correct.
Sorry for the deviation, but is this dumb or what? ....... Hvivo Plc - sp recently up 50% or so and because some institution wants to buy some more, but they are not there for sale, 2 of the Directors have today sold them £4m worth (half of their holding) of their own ! So the IIs think they are worth more, the Directors think they are worth less (or they just need the dosh?) Why don't the MMs show a higher sp? Why is it in Directors' interests to sell to IIs? - Answers on a post card please ...... Char at 8p, does not mean that is what they are worth! People are selling, Directors are buying, Is there some one/organisation who wants a lot more than what is for sale and one day soon/shortly/imminently buy a big chunk or put in a decent bid for the lot??
We are getting very near to drilling and some investors are nervous that there's no gas ... So they're reducing their holdings.
It's always a gamble, but the signs are all positive apart from the sp which appears to be false.
Keep the faith as 2024 should be a good year.
The purpose of this message board is to discuss peoples thoughts on Chariot. The occasional amusing posts and slight deviations I believe are acceptable, but personal insults aimed at posters because of differences of opinion are both childish and unnecessary.
GP14 - these Gas and oil Companies go up and down like a yoyo. I look at the Share risers and fallers on here every day. Often 70-100% winner is a gas/oil Company. It's definitely gambling - good news/bad news where traders earn their bread. A good result on the on-shore drill with positive news from Anchois could double bag us easy. That could be a few months off. Then Electricity is in short supply in South Africa where we may make a few bob. I've got Norcros at £1.90 with pe at 5. and divis 5% - ridiculous, s/be £4 a share. They are in Sth Africa and will benefit from growth there helped by cheaper power.
Hi Gooner - I think Malcy has dialogue with the Company. Although it is limited as to what he can be told, he will know more than us. But he has no control on the Share Price which is down to the trades and any "manipulation " by the MMs.
As we know sp dropped yesterday after almost reaching 10p last week but even though more sells today it is up 2% - makes no sense. Again. MMs trying to get pi's to sell which is working when you see some comments on here. This is AIM !!
imo for what it is worth !
