Chariot just did a raise. About $7m . Less than $2m to prop up Balance Sheet they say.

The rest is to finance various projects re gas/oil/renewables

If that is the case then they do not expect to run out of dosh in near future or they would have raised more.

They need working capital and £2m won't last them long.

Did they get a chunk of a few £million when they got the Anchois Company back?

Or are they selling something to raise some cash?

Or are they expecting a farm in for on-shore or off-shore?

Or have they at last acquired some income from out of the blue

Or are they leading us up the garden path and the balance of the raise is to provide them with their high wages for another 6+months

..... when we find out they have not spent anything to progress what they promised?

If the Company split does not happen until about end of year and we have got used to 1.4p sp value there could be more carrots news with yet another raise to keep some new investors interested and here we go again.

AP puts his own money in with these raises and probably has put in as much as he has taken out in salary so let's just hope there is some useful progress soon .... like a healthy rabbit appearing from the mud!

Adon30 it is possible that only say half of shareholders asked for their entitlement which would mean those who asked for more may have received double theirs. But whatever the outcome , was it really worth having an extra 1 for every 23 held, especially when you can buy them in the market for not much more. 1.44 today .

I feel that is what will be tried Goonerpete and I suggested earlier they may try to start at about 4p but hopefully will not succeed at that. If they tried a management buyout cheaply I hope we would get other offers which would push the sp up whether an offer was widely accepted or not. I'd prefer to hear some good news and let it run giving a chance to get back to the 20s even if we have to wait a year or two to get some decent income in the company.

I'm not sure of the aim rules but there is a % of acceptances where the minority have to sell. May be 80 or 90%

Joking Pete as you knew. I've just taken another look at the deal announced 7th Dec 2023 on the rns and looks to me that ENOG owe money to Char as they haven't done what was agreed. When you think of the numbers thrown about - $10m received / $15m if reach FID / $850m development carry if continues etc it puts the current CHAR value into petty cash department. I think we'll find that the subsidiary co. passed to Char will have a few million included in it.

Good to see a bit of optimism Goony and you've been here longer than me. I think the biggest positive currently is the fact that AP has just thrown another of his years salary into the bank when he is already underwater with this one. I'm pretty sure he has put more in than taken out so far and he never sounds worried about running out of money. Maybe time that luck due to turn after disappointments? If/When this turns round 15million quid capital value will sound like peanuts. But I'm still not buying any more - I have more than enough.
