A belated reply to AstonDB9, I played earlier a song by Ian and the zodiacs that I had recently come across and sounded very good to me, and you responded with "Mr Edwards, I presume ?" that was too cryptic for me as I had no idea who or what that quote meant, and my reply to you, sorry I don't know that person, which I didn't, had you said Mr Ian Edwards the clue might have dropped sooner, as I now find out that was the surname of the lead singer a Mr. Ian Edwards, I had not fully researched the band to that degree to find their individual names and only knew I liked the song, your answer now makes perfect sense, whereas earlier it did not, had you heard of the group yourself before I posed up the link? I had not, until I came across this song, and although from the 1960s this group had passed me by. I just wanted to explain why I did not understand your reply and now I do, I was expecting a reply based on the song, and not the actual surname of the lead singer. ...

Pete, Hi. you do realise the government has given everyone an MOT exemption for six months, the day before it is due to expire the continuation kicks in, I honestly thought the MOT stations were closed because this extension was being given.
Anyway good luck, but with the exemption, you can get your insurance, but if it goes in for the MOT and fails then you won't be able to get insurance until the car passes its MOT. catch 22.

Hi, Banjo2, well he just gets on your wick, if you notice the ecclesiastical references and the animals two by two that was referring to the previous you know who's and then Bobrat joined and made three by three, just having a laugh, why they have to be so picky is anyone's guess. on the second part, Bletchley Park was the BT regional training center and we used to be sent for there or four weeks at a time back in 1974/5, BT left the site in the late 1980/1990s, must go back soon and reminisce,
we slept in what was like army barracks two to a room with the toilet and shower block up the far end, the canteen was a rout march to a prefab building to the left of the main entrance, the thing I most remember is the sound of Mick Oldfields Tubular Bells being played out loud and echoing around the block, I think it was called Howard Hall? we roughed it while the lovely drawing office and typing pool girls were trained totally away from us blokes, and they had a lovely block of flats to live in on the other side of the lake, funny old world. you take care, you sir, and have a good evening.
