Wow, timed my exit perfectly, onto US stocks now and S&P...... Sundezena, told you so!

Budget airline Wizz Air on Friday reported a 1.9% increase in passenger numbers for December on an annual basis, but capacity declined as it continued to ground aircraft due to problems with Pratt & Whitney engines.

Says it all......

General unease with Trump and inflation which does not bode well until sorted out.

Seems risky holding Takayama, markets do not seem to be doing too well. When markets fall the fundamentals don't matter so much.....

Sundezena is the board clown on Wizz also it seems. Do the opposite of what he says and you're generally safe..... He jinxes every board and SP he is on, only buys on a high and sells on a low, even if there is no high as this stock has been tanking for a few weeks now beware!

Well Santa rally never happened Sundezena and look at today but up up up is the only language you know. Glad I but the bullet and sold now, especially with oil prices jumping these last few days S&P seems like the safest place to be.

And as you highlighted, a -2.5% drop is not a santa rally...........

JohnBriggs you must have not a lot invested in the SP if a -2.5% movement does not mean much to you. Im glad i got out when i did after years of being invested here with a large amount and doubling the investment.

You can say what you want the % drop mattered to me with my long term investment in this company as i had a target which i achieved. Got out while the going was good. This is just for kicks now and highlighting that there is risk which there is and what i thought makes sense to share.

Garonne, IAG is not a UK company however global markets are not at their best coming out of the xmas period and airlines are very sensitive to these swings. If the global economy is set not to do well, of course this will impact SP and its why I cashed out at the peak, pre xmas. Glad I did and interesting to see now that I made the correct choice.

Sundezena, you say "lets hope" for a rally now?

Last week you said "waiting for a xmas rally first...starting next week...last 5 days and first 2 in jan..don't want to lose out on that."

No fear on losing out on a "xmas rally" now.... Be careful of these rampers and gamblers everyone..... zero fundamentals or market knowledge.

Don’t see this Santa rally Sudezena was harping on about. Generally if there is one there is a boost in Jan and if not…. Well he didn’t tell you that! Hope for everyone’s sake it magically appears! Glad I cashed out and realized my gains as I had too much in this share to see swings downward.

Thanks casio_kid, remember, sell on a high and stay in on a low! Already feeling a lot better today on selling. Make sure everyone that you realise your gains and dont let the market swallow them up. I had a stretch target but it was too ambitious given the market reality on inflation, recession in several countries and Trump uncertainty . Maybe it will all reverse however no point keeping your gains in on hoping so. Better waiting for the fact on the sidelines.

Sudezena, it was not easy coming out given the amount I had invested and realized. I won’t be coming back in as a result athy would I be back next week. PS Santa rally…… my backside!

I'm out after 5 years in this share, mortgage paid off and more left over. This has been an experience with some very high highs and very low lows. I have doubled my investment and taken my profit, realized my gains. I dont trust the markets right now and might pop back later on with a more balance portfolio. Also you all should note you’re invested in a registered Spanish company versus a UK one. The Spanish own BA!

No real change on BOE decision to hold interest rate reduction. Just shows how much more dove-ish it was versus US hawkish scenario. There is no visible threat to the global economy.

Not as bad as I thought it might be, obviously Powell made the tech profit takers very nervous yesterday. Let’s see what the rest of the day brings but share buyback and overall fundamentals will keep this SP strong.

Its a shame the UK is such a mess as this would be much higher. The news is already baked in Garonne, cheer up, its xmas.
