IAG put in a solid Q1, with profits up strongly and demand still looking decent, especially on premium and Atlantic routes. The market seemed to like the numbers, with the share price moving up a bit, but it wasn’t the blockbuster Sundezena predicted. Higher fuel costs and a softer full-year outlook took some of the shine off, so overall a good trading update, but fuel costs are still the main thing to watch.
