With trump tariffs I can’t see oil prices going down….. Not sure where £6 is coming from, there is a lot to play before that happens…

2024 figure = 17.97

2019 figure = 14.57

Crossley I get your point however I bought in euro and as such research in euro. Yes when there are more shares market cap is a good indicator of value. I see now as a market share cap where I do not want to take a risk Investing, all things remaining the same.

Sundezena, this is not a popularity contest, IAG SP interests me, given how much i made from it. I am interested in how it performs and if they buy TAP i might jump back in. For now, I am happy annoying you and taking a break from work.

Riskawar, you might be right that it will go up however there are a lot of other options as it certainly will not double this year. I think IAG had its year of major growth last year. Sundezena the Clown ........ not worth talking to.

IAG has a market cap or net worth of 16.17 billion as of January 31, 2025. Its market cap has increased by 127.64% in one year. 2024 was the company's highest ever market cap, outpacing 2019 by +37%. I cannot see the room for a huge increase now unless they take over another airline, maybe TAP.

Sundezena will jinx this SP. He says it will eventually go up, but he doesn't know when or by how much! 50% risk of up or down. Market Cap is too high now, should see a decrease next week!
