SP on the up now, glad i didn't sell any at the bottom before 9am, that helps a little when it comes to avoiding panic selling.

Bleeding money here, down 20% since March which isnt too bad considering, I added more tranches last week.

If good news comes in, this sp will bounce and it wont be easy to jump back in if you're out. I can hear planes overhead as I write this.......

Have been doing a bit of research and if IAG consolidate their long haul routes and expand their short haul position they should weather themselves through this pandemic and come out a lot stronger. Luis Gallego is an experienced short haul CEO did wonders with Iberia Express and Vueling. He knows what needs to be done and this is why he is looking to consolidate costs through Gatwick and compete with Easyjet. He successfully did the same with Iberia Express. DYOR all IMO.

Until Q3 is released, everything is based off speculation. It’s strange that neither IAG or the government have spoken out about the pending doom that is being portrayed on this forum and in the media. Sean Doyle didn’t even meet with Priti Patel… which is very strange if there was such a crisis. It will be interesting to see what comes out over the next few weeks from original sources.

99p will only come through an RI and by then you wont have any shares and wont be able to take advantage of it. Something which i think makes all your commentary a bit pointless...

Boris mentioned just now that some news was coming soon on travel and simplifying process when it comes to testing.

Sell of this morning and bounce this afternoon if i can read the cards correctly.....

I thought that Boris would have no option but to do this now instead of waiting until 1st of October, makes no sense waiting 2 more weeks....

Announcement today/tomorrow should open up travel, particularly where tests are no longer needed for the vaccinated. Furlough being the big driver of change for the government.

Fugazi1, so you want IAG to tell you how the business is doing and when an RI is coming so you can stock up on shares in advance at the lowest possible price and make the highest return?!

How would that be fair to loyal shareholders, those who are invested, unlike you, that hold onto their shares?

Fugazi1, if an RI is announced it will be to help IAG to pay debt down and to facilitate a higher capacity launch of a key market. Think we all know which one.

If timed well, existing shareholders will also do well if they buy or sell their rights, as everyone will want to be onboard when the US opens.
