The SP was at 209 on the 2nd of June and the US was not open and there were travel restrictions. I cant see how today is worse than then, just cant see why anything would drag the SP down at this point..... Surely the penny will drop with a lot of investors in the next few days.

At 165p IAG is a bargain price with travel restrictions relaxing and the US opening up. Over the next few months we will see this price go higher and higher, peaking into March 2022. By 2023 I wouldn't be surprised to see it at 400p. IAG have cut their costs, have 10bn worth of liquidity (which i am sure they will use to pay down debt) and are one of the biggest airline groups in the world. Other airlines will fail and IAG will be there to scoop them up and further enhance their SP.

Interesting start to say the least!! Fundamentals are strong so for me this is like watching a thriller, tense moments followed by moments of relief. Best not doing anything rash. I fly out to BCN this week, going to enjoy a bit of sunshine and let the drama unfold.

Glad I'm already locked in, really looking forward to seeing this SP fly again. HIgh Debt but high liquidity is what Gallego mentioned, debt will all be paid off very quickly as people take to the skies in the coming months. IMO.

Mararab, you’re another Fugazi1, full of hot air! If you don’t believe in the airline and you buy shares, you are more the fool but I think you’re just conveniently saying you bought in at a low.

Obviously hasn’t sunk in yet that a lot of key red list long haul destinations have opened up?! I at a third of the price the IAG was pre pandemic, I think it is really good value. Especially that everything is opening back up again.

I might be wrong but I really don’t think so, US will buy in on good news too and might go even higher. I think there might be a small adjustment next week (Tuesday) all based on what Boris announces.

Fact that Boris is making the announcement shows that it will be very good news, he likes to take the credit on these things and have everyone else do the dirty work.

Would be interesting to understand why life jackets are needed when everything is opening up . If it was going the other way, fair enough. US cases are also on the decline so its looking pretty good. There will be speculative peaks and troughs but on average this is going up IMO.
