Was not a reflection on the Telfer plant itself acechaser, but more on the fact that its previous or past owners haven’t needed to seriously consider other resource avenues outside of its own open pitable ore before as Bamps has previously alluded to.

Not only in these changing times, but if the Telfer complex is to grow the hub and spoke model to supplement the Telfer plant to grow into a multi mine producer, inline with its growth stratergy. With the company that GGP aspires to be, then the necessity will be there to push these projects as far up the value curve as possible to maximise free cash flow to be serious growth opportunities like never before. That was more my point.

To fulfill Telfer plant and infrastructure potential, it has to be operating at or near its capacity

Thanks for reply Bamps, certainly if these individual satellite mines are shown to have strong enough economics to supplement Telfer without the need for pre concentrating then that will be a really positive start and I fully agree with you.

But surely if there is primary crushing on-site anyway, then an on site sorter will have the added benefits of massively reducing the material to go by road by up to circa 80% and increase head grades that will also improve the recovery process, there will be reduced onward Op costs and water useage. It would certainly be a consideration I don’t doubt it.

There will of course be trade offs with some losses at sorting and running costs but if project NPV and increased free cash flow margin that will not be so reliant on a sustainably higher copper price, if increased will ultimately by the deciding factor.

There are companies out there in Oz that provide sensor array bulk ore sorters, complete with software that will operate it and take royalty payments that could also potentially be costed in the economic model. Then there are also the whole ESG compliances to consider in these changing times that will help bring the Telfer dinosaur kicking and screaming into the new world 😂

Copper dominant projects that are marginal, can often benefit from ore sorting or other pre-concentration technologies before trucking for off site processing.

These would both no doubt be open pittable due to shallow and relatively shallow depths respectively. It’s what and how it can be economically extracted with these days pre-concentrating playing an ever increasing role in new and existing mines to not only improve on the economics of projects but have actually been shown to make marginal economic projects viable.

Can Telfer accept both oxides and/or sulphides if these can be trucked in?

Value creation is coming from increasing asset values. As an example BR is seeing more ‘detailed’ test work being done on Coa.rse particle flotation after initial scoping test work had been previously done to confirm its amenability. This detailed test work will be more at PFS level or certainly heading toward it now. All low cost outlay and potentially a huge value creator. Pre concentration technologies have been shown to turn big low grade projects that are not economically viable into viable ones. That’s a fact.

A rising share price is driven by supply and demand through positive sentiment , even though there have been some disappointments there is plenty to be positive about. Hope some decent news flow will ‘eventually’ see some of that sentiment return and also attract some new investors.

They have just successfully raised US$334m equity from investors and have up to US$750m of debt facility that can be used alongside production revenue to fund the development of Havieron. Are we really considering whether or not SD is coming to the market with his begging bowl again whether on ASX listing or here?

Even with unforeseen development costs cropping up there is a current US$17m contingency that will be re evaluated in the DFS next year.

The market should be already confidently assured, the Updated Telfer MRE will go a long way to de risk the ongoing project economics massively, assuring much further confidence.

Literally transformational company news that well and truly now cements Nalunaq as it’s primary asset. One that will begin to allow non dilutive development toward extending mine life including from satellite deposits to maximise cash flow by leveraging the plant and the non dilutive development across all other assets in the portfolio.

Opens up a really strong growth potential pathway, there will be blips along the way, that goes with the territory. Let’s hope they can keep the costs down for a low AISC

The level of information that the geo team can now draw from the drill core data has not only started to prove the theory, but will go a long way toward a more comprehensive drill campaign. Amaroq had identified the promising indications of gold mineralization from their geological and airborne electro magnetic geophysics (EM). The the drill cores magnetic susceptibility data can be used to help interpret the modelling of the magnetic data from the earlier EM survey to greater understand the architecture which will improve the interpretation toward assisting the targetting of later drilling.

Already mentioning Nanoq enhancing production at Nanulaq by improving cash flow by leaveraging the plant and expanding the processing capacity of the brand new modular plant that as far as we are aware has not gone into full service yet.

Will not be too long before nameplate capacity could go up fairly quickly to 150,000 tpa from current 104,025tpa with the additional mill and flotation.

Believe me, they already know! The current JORC resource is only what they have legally been able to report against, ‘not’ what they know is there. The updated JORC will include much more of the material that is in the resource model upgraded from unclassified that didn’t previously make it in.

As well as upgrading much more of the JORC to convert to ore reserves. After the updated MRE there will remain many millions of tons outside of the JORC that is in the resource model that ‘still’ cannot legally be reported against. Not because it is of low grade, but due to lower confidence of grade continuity where proximity of drilling is not as intense.

As bamps has stated, it just needs to be proven up with closer drilling in a nutshell.

Only because he’s patiently waiting for the right road and weather conditions to improve before carrying on with the journey. After all, he’s made this trip before so knows how to navigate this tricky next part of the journey safely and efficiently.

Hi Jackbal i could have been more concise and pointed more to the minnows in natural resource sector rather than ‘market’ in general, as I too hold soon to be gold producers that are doing me very well….so far.

I agree there should be some clarity given on Chilibwe in light of the lack of transparency around the loans. I’ll see if I can get the question to Archer on TG to put to colin next time they speak. They spoke last on Thursday.

I don’t really hold a view on how Colin chooses to pay or invest himself. Someone said once, it’s like all going on a coach trip together and complaining that the driver is being paid. I fully believe in the reasoning behind the disposal of the 23% net profit share of moz mine and ongoing strategy though. My opinion is there was no cheap way forward to continue with a controlling interest.
