Could be considered as £17m worth if chips to bet with. Exploration is one side of the company strategy but the other, to bring a mine into operation is massively down to having the experience and expertise.

Example being before mining starts at silverking or Kakuyu, its crucial for the company to be absolutely certain any mine that is to be developed to generate cashflow can be kept low cost and be self sustainable on top of just understanding the ore body.

Xtract have learned valuable lessons in the past, Chepica was at the centre of the company’s original strategy to generate cashflow quickly, but had to give up the mining rights when costs escalated higher than forecasted along with technical challenges and didn't think the mine could then consistently produce the gold needed per year to build up revenue quick enough.

The risks involved in mining the deeper sulphides at Fairbride were not palatable with the position of the company, so knowing when to walk away, the decision was made.

The Manica cash is in very experienced hands. You gotta be in it to win it, so definitely ‘he who dares wins’.

Bottom line is Colin has gained the respect of Tolai and Lukonde of Cooperlemon, Its unlikely that good working rappor would be jeopardised by Lukonde (Chilibwe Boss) stitching up xtr.

Chilibwe mine just shares name. Chilibwe mining do not own it as ‘their’ main focus is on the large scale exploration chilibwe project. The executive director is Lukonde Makungu, who is same at Cooperlemon. There’s not a lot to go on at all, but as always theres usually a skeleton somewhere associated with Africa if you scratch the surface. That new mines current general manager is Norton Munkondya, who in 2004 when director of finance at Logahead Logistics limited, was arrested for forgery, theft by agent and money laundering involving 739,238 dollars.

So just as well really! But the way to create value in this game is by drill bit.

Chilibwe have only been ‘restricted’ in developing the project, which is defined as the ‘existing’ joint venture. There would be prohibitions to the extent of what they can do, satisfying the conditions required by the cadestre of the license would not be restricted.

Looking at some facts, it is a colaboration agreement to ‘assist’ Chilibwe mining, not a joint venture. Who are under obligation with the mining cadestre to fulfil certain exploration objectives on the license, agreed on for the period when the previous technical report or application was submitted for the tenure, before being granted in 2018. If there isn’t wilful progress the license may get revoked when it’s time to submit the next technical report to the cadestre itemising what work has been completed on the license throughout that period. If they were to do nothing whilst under dispute, they could lose rights full stop when renewal is back up in Feb 25.

Xtr are not under any commitment to spend, but any funds provided by Xtract to Chilbwe or toward the project will be converted into further shares in Chilibwe on Xtr choosing. They are not just spunking the Manica cash away.

They are directly buying into the project.

If chilibwe were to accept funding from another party then a break fee of $500k is to be paid to Xtr likely in form of ‘further’ Chilibwe shares. This would include continued funding from their JV partner if the dispute was resolved in their favour as xtr collaboration agreement is solely with Chilibwe mining.

So it could benefit xtr either way the dispute goes in favour of. It may take time but it will be resolved.

Xtr licenses being sandwiched right in the middle will ultimately benefit from any of Ivanhoe’s successes that ‘will’ see the land values increase at some point.

How forthcoming will the majors be in updating the market on anything significant they find if they want to increase their land packages? Could become like a poker game between them with only xtr and glr putting out results of drilling for a while until one of them blinks.

Performing really well CP and without the herd and the mentality that comes along with it, with the wild swings in share price and enduring the endless repetitive parsley you get on the board when they arrive, most of which is just forum fodder. If this trajectory can be kept up seeminlgly on fundamentals alone as it still appears to be not that popular yet considering comparative volumes traded to other sexy stocks then that suits us just fine for now.

Glr similarly had to carry out access improvements to their license prior to immobilising rigs, i suppose xtr paid for that too LW

Trades are reported as either buys or sells depending in which side of the mid price they are executed.

There would be nothing wrong in inter company loans within group. We have already seen GLR loan 48k to xtr in previous audited results which has been repaid. Supplementing others costs without remuneration no!
