Ftse100 stuck in trading range -- 6589 to 6602 .

My "waters" are telling me Ftse 6600 will "go " today ---Onwards and upwards !! ---GLA.

FP --- looked at SOLG . Would be very interested @ around that 8 p support level for a 50% run to 12 p . will it drop to that level i wonder to give me an entry ?? ----GL. ( that Dow surge may be "on " )

FP---- Yes,(lol) doing the same with the FTSE myself as i write , anything over 6600 and into "overbought " on the daily rsi i'm in like a "shot " ---Dow looks a bit "lofty " but there's 90 mins. to go yet before open ?--decisions , decisions ---GL.

F4-----Nice Dow trade , both Dow & Ftse100 doing well again ---- Up and Down, Up and Down , making me dizzy (lol). GLA. (Will take a look-see @ SOLG)

My QPP and COMS taking a "battering " today -- Pretty sure on QPP longterm , not so sure about COMS ? Looks like Aviva just "hit " my target of 475 ( posted on AV bb ) Almost "good value " now ( almost !!) --GLA.

FP---Like your thinking on the DOW , that pattern emerges fairly often. You will be well into profit if your still running your DOW short. Trading the FTSE100 today myself ---Long on oversold daily RSI @ 6525, closed @ 6555. Short on overbought daily RSI @ 6560, closed @ 6518 . Good trading ranges today .---------long MJW @ 386.7 , got to bounce this time ? severly oversold technically now . --GLA.

DOW --out @ 16403 . No "shorts " opened ( should have !! )but as you say , better in the bank, always next week . ---GLA.

FP --- Spike down on MJW took me out and spread too wide now . Will be back in on monday if the 400 p level can be taken back and held ( blast it and i was doing so well today !! )

Ftse100 6570/6571 was triple high this morning , matched it this afternoon but won't beat it now !!--- 6605 next stop when it does ? ---GLA.

Moved Dow stop up to 16400, bouncing off 16419 support as i write. Closed Ftse100 long @ 6571.--may be a bit early ? Rally going according to plan at the mom. ( famous last words (lol) ) ----GLA.

Hello FP :-- moved my Dow stop up to 16390 but leaving Ftse100 "long" run at the mom. Gone back into LGEN and RSL but not AV.( technicals give a bit more downside yet ,but tempted as it may just start a run up now to ex-divi day ? ) - just bought a few MJW , massive drop after recent trading statement ---looking for a "bounce " only here .? brokers not keen on Tesco or Sainsbury , but Morrisons is doing better .----GL.

Afternoon All --- Long Ftse100 from 2nd break of 6510 and long Dow from 16310, just small this time , going my way at the mom. but doesn't seem to be any conviction in the markets yet ?? ---------GLA.

Mornin' all --- Out of AV and LGEN for a small profit. Very "iffy" still on "annuity " affecting profits ?? Ftse100 not giving me much to work with. DOW has to "retake" that 16300 level for FTSE100 to settle . struggling with 6500 at the mom. Still see a rally into april/may.----GLA.

FP---Well Done . Tomorrow will be an interseting day for the Ftse100 --- I will be looking to get in and out several times tomorrow . This volatility will give some good trading gaps . --GL.

FP & GB ---- Yes,just bought some LGEN & AV. Most def. an "over-reaction" to pension annuity proposals . FP Dow dropping a bit , that 16300 level will be important again . Ftse100 well below 6600 , but at least 17 points been knocked off cos of Insurers tanking . will regain 6600 if Dow stays above 16300 ( if) ---GL both.

FP -- Dow trying hard to keep 16300 and Ftse100 for 6600 again . may not do it first time , but the little "ruskie " made a speech this morning which went a little way to calming everything down for the moment. ---GL.

Good Evening All ----Closed DOW short @ 16020 for 270 points and FTSE100 @ 5490 for 102 points .Resisted going "long " the DOW ( god knows why ? ) All buys doing ok. DOW coming off highs as i post . Interesting Times ---GLA.

Decided to go for a basket of supermarkets monday morning . Will add Tesco and Sainsbury to my Morrisons s/b "long order" .All three oversold technically , but would not rule out further declines after small initial retrace . 5 year low on two of them but price-wars due to Morrisons restructuring could have negitive implications in the short term --Longer term a small " position build" in all three could pay off hansomely. May adopt a "split trade " of some sort to "hedge " on any more downside ? ---GLA.

FP --- You like "playing with fire " on them Indicies (lol) ----Still "short" both Dow and Ftse100 , interesting times coming this week i think . China debt problems and the Crimea referendum !!--- Still have Dow testing 16000 and Ftse100 6500 again ( poss. 6450 ) before rallying into april/may . Back in AHT , TW, HSL , HGG and AV. Order in for MRW "long " mon.morn. My BARC double up yesterday looks to be a "mistake" on recent news, oh well can't win 'em all . ------GL.
