Early morning all-----DOW futures up over 16600 as i write, Should make for good trading on FTSE100 as well today(friday). Am "long" BT and ENQ ( bounce very likely now on enq) . May add to QPP today if it holds above 35 p going into weekend. BLNX may be a "long" again soon -- proving to be as difficult as FGP (lol) Actually in profit with my recent BARC now !!----------GLA.

F4---Hello, Yes opened a "short" position on IMG today at 226 ( little daily H&S going on ) Still got a "long" in , much like yourself ---But technically approaching overbought now so should pullback . How much is the thing ?? 240 up does look possible but it's been very " unhelpful " in recent weeks (lol) ----------GL.

FP-----Yes, BLNX was a bit of a "shock" to many more than me !! My FGP has done the same today after yesterdays "break " above recent res. --My IMG holding tho' above 200 p --- "Funny" things , shares (lol) ---GL.

Good Afternoon All.--- The RALLY continues on both DOW and FTSE100 as i suspected it would ---Both Indicies have recently had a pos. MACD crossover on anything wider than their monthly technicals indicating further upward momemtum . Ftse100 has now risen to meet its 50 EMA , Dow is well over its 50 DMA. Both RSI's are rising towards upper levels. ---- Although looking "unlikely" to some ( perhaps me as well ?) i see a continuation towards recent highs of 6800 with the Ftse100 and beyond 16600 with the DOw. thu' April at least before any substantial "pullback" ( probably all collapse around my ears now (lol) ). ------Let's see what happens !!----GLA.

FP---- Well , the Dow right back up there !!--- unbelievable ? --- that 16472/5 level hit again and held --- Just about resisting going long at the mom.----GLA.

DOW short closed @ 16415 for 50 points---GLA

FP---was looking back at mid jan. and early march on that 16472 "top" . as one to beat for 16500 and beyond . BLNX & IMG shorts closed . Still running Dow short . Surprised by " disconnect" between Indicies !! My FGP making a "break out "

Morning All ---Well , most Insurance Annuity Providers down dramatically this morning . A bit of a "rout" going on ---- Gone into AV, RSL and LGEN small and will build on further drops to come . This is one time i shall happily "buy" a falling share and average down ( long term strategy ) (lol) -----------GLA.

Out @ 16298 ( phew ) -- 16450 looks a distant memory !! unbelievable ? --GLA.

Afternoon All --- Scary stuff on the Indicies if you're not very careful . "Elliot Wave " down being talked about now ?? --- Anyway , taken out of Dow short at 16300 for level trade , but took a chance and "long" from the break of 16200 down , up 95 points at the mom. Not really bothered with Ftse 100 today. -----GLA.

Wow , just had to go short the Dow on the break of 16300 , this is "silly-stuff" at the moment !! will leave it run overnight with a level stop . Probably lose those 38 points , lets see ? ---GL.

FP -- we appear to have a range with the Dow , 16300 to 16450 ---Very interesting ---GL.

FP -- Incredible stuff with the DOW. 16454 down to 16300 . Is it going to go all the way back up ?? wouldn't bet against it at the moment (lol) ----GL. GB --- My best "trading tool" is the daily RSI for the Ftse100 and Dow. Using live intraday charts on MoneyAM . You could use IG or Finspreads charts or several others if you choose to. For stocks /shares using more in depth TA ( macd, rsi, moving averages , support and res. levels , fib retrace etc etc. )Company Fundamentals can be important ie rns's and pe's etc. ----GL with all that .

Stopped out on Dow long for level trade -- On the sidelines now.---GLA

Dow short closed @ 16409 ---now long @ 16412, (grabbed a few more off Ftse )

Afternoon All---caught the Dow "pattern" today , Short @ 16454 . Banked a few points on Ftse earlier on , trading range too tight now ----GLA..

F4 -- You're fast becoming a Master at this , Dow up and over 16400 as i write .---Ftse100 finally made it past 6600 , albeit after hours (lol) --GLA.

FP & F4 ---Yes ,Ftse100 having a last ditch effort to stay above 6600, i think it may just do it !! -- banked just over 52 points in total ( not good) that small trading range was a "killer" today --have to switch to DOW esp. if it repeats its pattern of late . -- My MJW needs to get back above 400 , my AHT on the rise again nicely .( Ftse not going to make it !!) 6601 quadruple top today, which way tomorrow ?? ---GL all.
