FP -- Yes, came within 8 points of my stop twice , but you have done very well considering the opening spike against you . ---Not sure it's over and done with yet , so leaving mine run with a 16290 stop up now. ( give me 159 points at that level, very happy with that )best one day profit for a while (lol)-----GL.

FP-- yes, had a basket of all three supermarkets ( mrw. tsco , sbry ) MRW and SBRY gave me a profit. went for a basket of insurance co's after the annuity de-barcle ( av, lgen, rsl ) AV did me proud , hanging in there with LGEN , and RSL broke even ---But RSL looks very oversold technically now, so may go for that one again ---QPP on the up again , ----GL.

FP ---Was looking at MRW again myself . Call me rash but gone short the DOW on the spike @ 16449 ( looks like it may " take me out " soon tho' --GL.

Mornin' All --- It really does amuse me , even now after all these years of trading , how it matters not a fig how well we are doing in the UK , because if the DOW goes down , we go down , if the DOW goes up , we go up (lol) Truly a Global Market or just "little bear" following "big bear" ?? (lol)---But it does frustrate me none-the-less ---- FTSE100 from up 60 odd to down 6 in less than 3 hours and the DOW is not even trading for another 3 hours or so yet -----Absolutely Amazing !!!-------------GLA.

FP --- Yes, explosive stuff -- Had my "long" order set for when the early high @ 16327 was topped . Just closed @ 16400 ( too good to miss banking ) --- GL.

FP --- thought this was a "clean " bb (lol) --- needless to say got stopped out of DOW and FTSE100 a while ago while out in the sun mowing the lawn( level trades , nothing ventured -nothing gained ) Bought some ENQ the other day ( massive drop for some reason !!)( got their 5.5% bond in my bond pf) . --bounced a few pence , hoping for more !!.

GB------The way i do it is have an account with IG and Finspreads--- IG do not have ftse100 quarterly positions but Finspreads do , so you have choices with Finspreads , but IG have many of the IPO's and AIM shares that Finspreads don't have --- best of both worlds if you have two different platforms to work with !! Better trading today ---closed FTSE100 short for 48 points-- went long the DOW @ 16199 ( 16200 will hold for now ? )---GLA.

Afternoon All --- Short FTSE100 from drop below 6600 this morning --- just as well i'm making money on the Indicies as some of my shares and funds are looking pretty " sick" at the moment (lol)----GLA.

Guys , where are you all today ?? --- Well, DOW failed to hold 16300 , testing march's lows of 16254 ish --- have a feeling 16200 may get tested if it can't get and hold above 16300 anytime soon . FTSE100 tested and failed to hold 6600. "scalping" the Dow for a few points ---- All scary stuff again ---GLA , ( where ever you are ( lol) ) .

Looks like the DOW wants to test 16300 now ----------Anyone else about today , feel like i'm "hogging" the bb (lol)-----FTSE100 giving me a few more points , looks like 6600 may get tested ?? -- I knew i'd regret top slicing QPP ( damn ) ------GLA.
