Well, unfortunately the Catalyst for a sell -off in most Indicies has been the tragic plane crash in Europe !!-- possibility now of terrorist on-board hijacking the cockpit or rogue Pilot-----markets are very fickle !!-- On a lighter note , cat to the vets yet again this morning !!--- £77-00 the other day for consultation ,blood tests and medication ---£130-00 today for tooth extraction while on drip---heart murmur and liver problems came from blood test results ---so possibly £2000-00 more for biopsy and lifetime medication ---cat is 12 years old so i know my answer to the problem ---just got to persuade the wife !(lol) ---- May , of course , not survive general anaesthetic !!--- GLA.

Hmmm ---tend to agree with GS on this one !!--- That £2.00 level is historic resistance , quite clearly ----but against all the Brokers recomms over the last 12 months it has had an excellent rise !!--- Technically not a buy at all atm ----but if that 200p/210p ish historic res. level is overcome on a two day closing basis then who knows ?? --- GL with your decision -----

Just a quick opinion ------ Good Income share at just under 5% dividend ---big Brokers have been plugging it as a buy/overweight for ever it seems , but never seems to come to much ever ?? -- Just bounced off 215p supp . i notice and may rise --all things being equal----- to that 240p res. level again !!- Technicals aren't good tho' atm ---sp stands just below 50ema but well above 200ema ---- 13ema iscurrently below 26ema ---so income is the only reason to buy atm as i see it esp. if it starts to lose more market share to the likes of BT .---JMVHO guys -- GLA.

CIU (Cape) still rising ---thought it might !!-- Approaching rsi oversold and popped top bollinger but macd is still positively diverging due to the recent rise and 13 ema/dma which was below 26 ema/dma is just starting to turn up towards 26 ema/dma !!--- all a bit double dutch (lol) -----basically means watch this space closely as the current rise may have a little further to go ??----- A close tonight above that dec/jan 250 p res. level would be very bullish !!--- GL.

Afternoon both ----- Google Chrome crashed around my ears !!------ downloaded latest version (41) ---now got a horrible light blue coloured header / new tab bar and weird Font sizes ?? ----- Found the settings tab and trying to find a colour theme i can live with and attempting to customise the font and zoom sizes --- May switch to Firefox or Opera !!--- Why they have to keep stupidly updating things for the sake of it is beyond me !!!--- Dax still piling up the pts/pounds for me !!--- Cat to vets this afternoon ---it's a hectic life sometimes (lol) --- GL both-------

Latest SL short showing a profit at long last (lol) -- IMG long a little in the red so will not add to it just atm. --- GL both -----

GS :- SPD still in a downtrend atm ---technicals suggest close to near-term oversold ( just) but may well see lower yet !!- The drop below supp . @ around 655p was of concern and next supp. is down @ around 630p --which i would not like to see breached !!-- GL . BOO --- Hmmm !! -- really not sure on that one --33 p maybe ?? ----what do like about that one in particular ?? GL.

Annuity changes in the Budget will adversely effect the likes of Aviva and Admiral again ---Esure will probably get dragged into the "fray" as well altho' it's a non-lifer !!-- GL.

Esure hit that 230p res. level and dropped away a bit ---so even at 224p you've made an excellent profit -- May see a bit lower tomorrow , who knows , and give you a buy back opp. !!---- Didn't want to influence your decision in any way by saying anything earlier --but had closed 50% of my position @ 226 p earlier on already ---- just got 2000 left now ---- GL on your ITV, SPD and BOO -----

My initial thought is that i closed my long posn. too early a while back ----my second thought is i 'm glad i closed my short when i did !!-- It's now into overbought on the rsi but as Optimus suggested it's now rapidly forming a new break-out uptrend !!-- 13 ema is above 26 ema and still diverging which does suggest more to come before any pull-back !!-- To high for me atm to buy-into but any significant drop would look to be a good buying opportunity ---- Goldman Sachs has come in with a 294p conviction buy on friday , i see !!-- One to watch very closely r perhaps go in small for now ?? -- Esure having trouble with that res. level ?? --- GL.

Wondered where you had got too today ? --- Yes a very good steady move higher all day !!- Has now hit 50% retracement from recent drop and has some good resistance now between 225 and 230 p ---will be interesting now to see if it pushes on to 240p or falls away from res. -- GL.

Yes ---a bewildering rise in the SP sure enough !!-- I see an "overweight " again from JP Morgan Caz. this morning --not quite a "buy" but the only one giving anything greater than a "hold" atm.!!--- Perhaps people just don't understand the consolidation coming up ??--who knows ??--- From my technical point of view the sp is now well into overbought territory --standing currently @ at a touch over rsi80 ----- It has been this overbought on several occasions in the past --each one was followed by a drop of between 30-50p !!- Will be interesting to see what happens immediately after the Consolidation !!-- It has been in a good uptrend since late 2013 --the previous uptrend from late 2011 was extremely powerful as well !!-- Depending which sp peaks you use --it has either just formed another potential break-out or todays high @ 260p ish was the third touch on the current uptrend --- i favour the latter , esp. seeing as it's so overbought !!- So time for a pull-back now --down to at least 430p --perhaps even 420p ---JMVHO -- GL.
