Good Morning . --- Another Dax short @ 11452 and then out completely again @ 11426 ( 2 point overall loss) --still looking too strong --may switch to longs now instead of shorts esp. if 11450 is re-gained and held into the close !!-- GS ---good luck with your EMG trade --i have closed 50% of my short @ 190.7p ( 6.3p pt. gain £ 126.00) ----may see 185p ish to hit the channel before rising again as they do have an excellent uptreng in place !! ---- GL both ---- HSBA & CNA pushing on a bit ---SL and SMDS shorts not so atm. --

Short again Dax 11400 ---- a rising Dow now halting any Dax drop !! ---was always the danger !! HSBA(C) , 50% closed @ 581.2 p ( 10pt gain £125. ) CNA 50% closed @ 247 p ( 3 pt. loss £30. ) Currently only just over £130.00 up on the three shorts ---a slow day !! GL both---

Triggered @ 11401 and out @ 11375 limit buy for +26 pts. -----bit of weakness being shown now on Dax as Dow rises to 18200 !! ----

Last Dax short just closed out @ 11370 (+ 43 pts. ) --out completely now ---will drop rapidly now , cos i'm out !! (lol) -- Short order in for drops below 11350 or above 11400 again ----- Time for a nice relaxing cuppa !! -- GL.

Yes, Dax coming back off highs atm !! (good) ---closed one of my remaining shorts just @ 11390 for +23 pts. ---just one now left running now from av. level 11413 , so + 23 pts. up on that one atm ----- DOM is the only one i haven't gone short of this morning ---was a bit uncertain about that one as well !! -- The other three are just about showing a profit atm ----- HSBA(C) and CNA --- still both undecided which way to go , it seems ? --- GL.

Optimus :---- Dax in fine form still, it would seem !! ----Some tactical play this morning by me to put myself in a better overall posn. ----- 2 short posns. closed @ 11398 ( 46 pt. loss) ---long off 11407 closed at 11452 ( 45pt. gain ) --- Another short order triggered @ 11450 ------leaving me with 2 open short posns. average 11413 for a 26pt running loss atm. !!----- It will pull back but when is the question ---but i feel happier now with the higher average and less posns. open --- GL. ----( small short on EMG , SL and SMDS --not looking for much so fingers crossed ) ----

Also considering going short of DOM again and EMG ----both have a small short -term pull back due now imvho but again further out they are looking at higher levels !!--- GL.

Still alive after last nights excitement (lol) ----shed didn't explode and lots of hot coffee kept the firemen happy till the early hours !! ---neighbour faces some awkward questions and possible fines now for keeping Gas Cylinders in a shed so close to his house !! ----- GS :- Yes, bit unlucky most definitely !! ---these funds , altho' multi-mix comps. do seem to stick to a few basic supp. and res. levels tho' !! --- never mind , always another winner just over the horizon ( hopefully ) --- Optimus :--- Yes, absolutely incredible strength in the Dax atm . ---i new it was Bullish but i think it's caught a lot of guard in the last few days !! --- I had a short @ 11253 , 11290, 11330 , and 11350 ------got out of all those @ b/e on the drop back to 11306 --then went short everytime it hit 11350 and dropped to 11306 ish ---did well the first few times and then when it burst above 11350 it triggered my shorts @ 11375 and @ 11400---so i know have 3 short posns open giving me an average of 11375 ----- IG sunday markets have the Dax at around 11409 atm --- I have spoken to a couple of sources about the Dax strength and they all concur that it is US Funds and others buying the Dax ( not just the 30 companies but the Index Futures themselves) ---because of the perceived strength in the Eurozone ---hence the rise in the Dax and Ftse100 and the opposite in the Dow !! --- Over on the Spread Betting bb we are all short ( much as i wanted to go long on friday (lol) ) ---some deeper in the CARP than others !! --- Yes, it is very overbought on the 4 hourly and the main Daily and well over-extended on all EMA's -----we are all looking for a drop of at least 100 pts and hoping for a lot more --perhaps down to 11200 ? -- If the Dow decides to "take off" now tho' then the Dax will continue higher ------JMVHO mind -- I can now stick with 3 posns. and a rise to 11500 will put me 375 pts down or i can add more shorts @ 50 pt. intervals and a rise to 11500 will put me 425 pts down --- I'm about 77 pts. down atm on fridays closing level -------Dax is simply too high now to go long , so ,in a sense , the decision has been taken away from me and others !! -- If you think the Dax is going higher tho' before the drop , then hedge long is the trade ( which i may go for) as money will be made just before the inevitable drop ---decisions, decisions !!! ----- GL

That's quite impressive --averaging about 14% --- Beats my H&L account ---that's running about 11.5 % ( mixture of fund and bonds ) --- -- Excitement tonight keeping everyone awake on my road --- fire engine, blue flashing lights and water everywhere--- a neighbours shed in danger of exploding !! --- a gas cannister caught fire , sparks from an earlier garden fire , apparently --- all a bit like overkill if you ask me , but got to be sure i suppose !! --- GL.

Two small long posns. --one @ 251.5p yesterday and 248.5 p today . -----gives me an av. posn of 250 p ---a couple of pence down at the moment but let's see if we get a bounce or not !! --tight hedge short order in as well -- GLA.

Optimus , well done on your trades !! --i agree, everything looking a tad unpredictable --if the Greeks don't like the compromise their new party is being forced to accept , then it could all hit the fan well before the 3 month grace period is up !! -- If that doesn't spook the markets then there's always the Ukraine "thing " waiting in the wings !! --- HSBA(C) and CNA up and down like a fiddler's elbow all day (lol) ----You still in QPP ?----nice rise over the last few days !! -- COMS has taken a nose dive to under 1p now on a profits warning !! -----good punt or not , i wonder ?? ----an aweful lot of investors have lost a shed load of dosh on that one !! ---- Despite the " nervousness" in the markets , they are very Bullish overall ---Dow's rise above 18200 and Dax's rise above 11200 and an all time closing high on the Ftse100 signal much higher to come eventually !! -- Have opened up a CFD trading account today with City Index ---not previously been into CFD's but may do some maths and see which is cheaper --CFD or S/B ------both a lot cheaper than ordinary Broker accounts in the short term , only gets more expensive if you hold the posns. beyond about 3 months on average because of the libor levi !! --- GS -- have yourself a bit of a dabble with Spread Betting --would save yourself a lot of money when you go into rapid short term buy/hold/sell mode !! ---- GL both --------

Yes, agreed , overdone a tad now !! ---another well defined downtrend but a bounce to around 280 p could be on , assuming it can get past 260p ish first ----you're in at a good level already , i'll try and get in today !! -- GL-----zebedee says " time for bed" now (lol) ----

Can't sleep again so quick post !! --- That guy on HSBA has only bought 10,000 shares thru' a CFD trade !! ---i don't see what all the fuss is about over there ?? equates to £100-00 /point on a S/B that's all -- GS has just bought 5000 shares --i've only gone for 2500 i know , but i'm exposed on many different fronts , as it were (lol) ---- At a 2 year low and assuming he's using a stop loss then i don't see what is causing all the fuss over there !! Well done on your trades btw --i'm still dabbling withe Dow, Dax and Ftse100 as well now ---all time highs for everything probably means a healthy pull-back is needed soon but i wouldn't rule out further rises either ----everything very Bullish !! --- GL.

Whether to participate in the up coming DFS ipo or not ? ------may be worth risking a few quid --- some Analysts are quietly positive !! --- GLA.

I'd say 590/595 p initially but would hope for around 600/605p as you thought earlier !! --- Yellen's speech has given everything a bit of a boost , it would seem ------Dow and Dax at all time highs yet again , Ftse100 only a few points away from its friday high !! -----things all set for a bit of a pull-back any time soon !! --- GL.
