Well done both on your trades !!--- GS :- not sure about NG atm ---- but good luck with it . -- Optimus :--- It's been a bit intense for the last few days so haven't had much time to post !! --- time of year again to sort out my accounts / returns etc etc. --- Been winding down a bit of my P2P lending in Funding Circle -----hasn't given me the returns i was expecting and gettiing from my other accounts .----- I have Level 2 ( or DMA as they call it ) access thru' Spreadco CFD's but don't use it much ----i am able to see the trading history , thru' that and also thru' the N&P website trading history !!----- I have been short the Dax from the extreme overbought 4 hourly rsi @ 12400 a few days ago and have closed out today on the extreme oversold 4 hourly rsi @ 11800 . ---since then i have been trading the Dax 1 minute oversold rsi looking for 20 pt. gains on each trade as it drops ( and wow has it dropped today ) ---- I was also short the Ftse100 from 7100 , so just over 100 points on that !! ----- £10/pt. has been my bet on all trades ( bit more careful in my old now ) ----but this week , altho' very intense/ time consuming has allowed me to add a Substantial amount to the years trading profits. !!---- My car developed an oil leak all over the drive ---so i have a courtesy motor atm while the garage attempts to see where it's coming from !!----- bit of a pain in the backside , wife is not best pleased with the mess --i'm hoping the cost isn't going to eat into my hard earned profit too much !!--- In my youth i would have been out with the ramps and de-greaser in a flash ----prefer to pay someone to do it for me now (lol) ------ GL both ----

The bid did drop , however from 2047.5 p to 2044 p immediately after normal market close ( 16.30pm ) ---so will be interesting to see what the opening bid is tomorrow morning !!--- GL.

The only thing that makes a difference between Spread Bets./ Cfd's & Broker /Online bought shares is the buy/sell spread , the CGT and the Stamp Duty ----- not the Margin ( call / requirement ) ----- GL.

Have no idea what you mean about £30/pt being only 1500 shares ----margin has no effect on number of shares on the spread ---margin is just the amount of cash required to hold the position on the account !!-- £10/point is equivalent to buying 1000 shares thru' a Broker ---- 1 point rise will give you a gain of £10-00 on the spread and 1 penny rise on 1000 shares thru' a Broker will give you the same gain of £10-00. ---- £30.00 /point is therefore equivalent to a purchase of 3000 shares thru' a Broker !!---- GL .

Optimus ----yes , remember Sid but didn't partake at the time ------got well into Buzby tho' (BT ) and made quite a bit on trading the first lot issued ( £1.50 p i think was the price ) ?? ----- Anyways , finally got rid of all my Standard Life shorts this morning @ 469p -----can't say i made any money but at least i only lost a couple of hundred in total !!-- Closed out my Light Crude short as well @ 50.82 ---that gave me + 316 pts ( £2.00 /pt. only tho' this time --being a bit more cautious on Oil these days ) --- so happy with overall trades atm.---- Esure holding up well , i see, after going Ex-Divi today .---- Difficult to find value anywhere atm ----- do you agree ?? Looking at the 4 hourly for Light Crude it would be targetting down around the $49.00 level again !!---- GL.
