We are where we are with AST... To be honest, no point in looking backwards now, with "what-ifs", need to try and look forwards to what could/should happen? Permits should be issued, Buyers for the company should be found, price should be much higher than were we are now? I'm holding... probably 'til the end game plays out... whatever way it goes! :) GLA.

I'm not selling a single share before my exit target of 2.5p is hit... and that's gospel!! :) Tomorrow is a new day.. GLA.

Yeah, me too, took a few more myself, to help the cause. Us LTH's are gluttons for punishment, supporting our misbehaving shares... nice to see AST maintaining a rise today too... harder (in AST's golden years) to do that I believe :) Bestow on us the permits please Mr ARSO... if you wouldn't mind. GLA.

Wouldn't worry too much about Reso… he has a "blinkers on" approach of posting hundreds of negative posts every month on a share he doesn't own... merely for his own entertainment!! :)

So... a quiet day, until the end, when a few bigger trades showed up. Also, a 1-share code too... coincidence? Probably... but tomorrow the ARSO permitting panel meet again; will they ratify those darned permits? Would like to hope they will at least consider doing it, over their coffee and hobnobs!! :) GL everyone.

Amendments submitted... on time, so ARSO have had them now for nearly a week... wonder if they will be discussed/agreed at Wednesday's meeting? Perhaps... too optimistic, but certainly if ARSO are true to their word, it should issue the permits without any undue delay now! GLA.

Well, I see some debate on the subject of AST future tonight... both good and bad!! :) Usual suspects dissing the share as always(Reso, Misie etc.). Personally, I hope to see a bright end to the saga... it's been a long time in the making! GL to all genuine holders...

Did you just call me a weasel then Stockdale... tad harsh? :) I'm holding... in fact, I'm seriously considering a topup next week, should funds allow. Still believe this will come good. The asset has not gone away, it's still 456BCF of gas, even with the measly amount we have take from pg10/11a. Someone will want it... IMO. GL everyone.

Difficult to argue with that summation of events... think we're all facing the facts now that nobody will purchase or partner AST without having some/any requisite permits in place? If GEO amendments are in, and if ARSO are true to their word... we should be in the final throws of getting them finally granted. Could be next week, you never know.. :) GLA.

3p, we can but dream the dream.. it may happen? If it does, I think I will invest in a cheap Ryanair flight to Slovenia next Summer, to go visit... I bet it's a wonderful place... so relaxed and tranquil.. might go on a Wednesday, pop into the ARSO building, say hello and thanks!!! :)

Enthusiasm... tempered, but being AST, we all know things can go either way... hoping for the best.. still holding! :) GLA.

The data room (and strategic review) have been running since 17th April, so in a couple of weeks, that will be five whole months!!! Surely that's time enough? CH has stated that we started with about 20 companies, but wouldn't divulge the number left in, except to call it a "handful"... Ones taking a longer term view and/or less requirement on a permit. However, of course, should the permits arrive... more interest could arise, hence we're all hoping for those to arrive ASAP this month! Bids could come any time.. there's no set timescale... that's the gamble :)

Wednesday's in September... for them to agree our permits and rubber stamp them!! :) Let's say... not this Wednesday, in reality, so probably only three viable ones. Let's see if the pressure from British chamber of commerce and public (PI) pressure has the desired effect on ARSO. Hope so. Would not want to be out... for this month!! :) GLA.

Reso - there are undoubtedly faults on both sides... submission of the amendments from AST has been tardy at best... but I do think ARSO have put many roadblocks in the way themselves, even rehashing points that were agreed previously, to definitely delay or slow the application. For what reason... don't know, but let's hope that is done with now!!
