To save me trawling hundreds of posts today (been busy most of the day!)… why is Colin not going? He's not part time yet... so why's he not leading the international rescue mission himself??

Will tomorrow bring I wonder... bounce, further falls or evens?? Personally, I don't have any spare dosh to average down just now (nor do I feel inclined to do so), so it's wait and see for me. Only a good S/R result OR permits can help us I feel. GL everyone, whatever you plan to do...

I'm only down about a grand... don't hold that many these days, but it's a lot for me. New_2... £80k? Geez, I'd have issues with Colin myself if I was down that much. Hope he gets us out of a hole!! :) GL to all invested, however much... it's never nice to see a massive loss (paper or otherwise!).

Hmm... I hope so EC, but when is the question? They keep asking questions on things agreed month/years ago.... and it's a monthly turnaround process I guess... so we only have a short time to year end, to get them. Most pressing is the well re-stimulation ones... either would do though, I'd take an IPPC as well!! :)

So unfair really... a company with an asset of 200m euro, now with an m/cap of 9 million quid!! No sentiment in business I guess, but being stitched up over the permits, it is somewhat galling. Let's hope we get an offer, or indeed a partner, with some deep pockets… and contacts in the right places!! GLA.

Offer would the BOD accept now I wonder? 1.5-2p ? In all honesty without those elusive permits, probably all they could get! Be interesting to know how many IPPC permits they have issued this year..

The RNS a few times.. what do people make of the permitting section? Have ARSO requested more information again, or just the responses on 6th July and we await the permits now? Not too sure...

If Colin will be doing a podcast this time? He normally does.. maybe glean something from that? I'm a little confused as he's pleased with the progress of the S/R? Interesting.. timed my buy wrong though!! GLA.

Let's be honest - if the SR proves fruitless, this company is not going to fold overnight? It has no debt, it's making a (small) profit monthly... yes, it's reliant on two gas wells holding up, but they have so far? Might give Colin more time, to try and get a deal sorted, if/when permits arrive?

It wrong to admit the 80.4k share topup at the end was mine!! Doh! In for a penny, In for a few hundred pound... still, I guess it could be an astute purchase, we shall see what transpires!! :) GLA.

Ok, by that rationale then.. how are we going to see an end to the S/R process? Nobody budges until they see a permit (or two)… won't sign on the dotted line... so where/when does it end? Does it just continue ad-infinitum, until permits? Wouldn't like to be sitting here at Christmas wishing a permit from Santa!! :)

It's a bit like going salmon fishing... you cast your rod far and wide, hoping for that lure to pull in a big MF fish... waiting hours and hours (months & months!) for that one catch... also similar in that you need a permit to do it!! :) Ah well, always next week....

Scott... just out of curiosity... what email address did you use for CH? I sent one to the email address on the AST website, without any reply... just wondering if you use that one?

They're also now under the "IT Hardware sector" in LSE apparently... wonder how they qualify for that sector?? :)

Read perfectly to me... and anyone who uses the word 'nadir' in his posts, deserves utmost credit IMHO!! :) Actually though, Stockdale has made perfectly valid points, the SP is well below where it deserves to be - but for how long? We await the SR decision, and the permits! I believe they will come, unlike some on here, and that will instil some confidence in the company going forward. My crystal ball says "deal". Let's see what happens. GLA.
