Good post RS, I would add that not only were Jan and Feb unaffected but I believe Mooky mentioned that before covid struck they'd had higher admissions on a year on year basis for those early months.

Don't see how it can hurt if the friend buys popcorn and a drink, plus watches trailers to other films while there.

Lol "the smallest bit of good news" I.e the trend of falling cases and deaths in the US meaning all cinemas can likely open in a few weeks, just small good news.

Tidd I doubt anyone investing here believe cine will need futher debt to help with day to day running costs. Obviously any business which had to finance running costs with debt long term would do badly.

Tidd they've confirmed they have liquidity to take them to end of 2020 even with all cinemas closed, why would they be looking at "other options"?
