One could argue that if covid is as deadly and serious as the media has been telling us for the last 6 months, to the extent that the world needs to be locked down and the economy at risk of collapse, you could argue it's appropriate to release an emergency vaccine ahead of normal schedules. I feel we may have achieved more herd immunity than many think, particularly in places like Sweden but if a vaccine means we can get back to normality then that would be great.
