Couldn't agree more with this. This war has made me realise, we need to unite with other countries. We are vulnerable alone.

As Jul says, £13K is F all. There are people that will drop a million quid on an obscure bio tech company, because some bloke ok Facebook said it's hot. £13K in nothing.

Saw a news story saying interest might not be as bad as predicted. Possible short squeeze coming. Only time will tell.

Will never understand the mentality of someone that goes out to upset people.

Maybe they know something we know, that this is a great company, at a great price!

I just tried to buy, "quote and deal" in my Barclays ISA, and it gave me a quote at 209.5, didn't actually buy, but I'd imagine if they're quoting, they're selling.

Basically, Putin pull all troops out, and Ukraine won't blow nay more bridges up... deal?

I second that CW, I already feel uncomfortable having over 25% in RR, let alone 100%, anything can happen.

By the looks of it, their strategy is to sell NA, pay off debts, and then hibernate. Though I'm not even sure if they'll be "allowed" to do that.

I was Originally only invested in funds, but the pandemic got me on the hunt for bargains. I fear I may have made a few big mistakes, but only time will tell. I have a load of Evraz shares too, which appear to be lost forever. These are definitely interesting times. I'm trying to put 400 a month into my ISA, so hopefully some more bargains will turn up.

Cheers for that newdeal, I was starting my first job, and drinking all my wages during the 2008 crash, and thus was not active. Fortunately I got a five year fix before this all kicked off. I was diabolically lucky. I paid early repayment to finish my deal a year early to buy with partner. I liked the five year fix, for peace of mind, didn't care if it cost me more, stability was always my thoughts in that regard. Hopefully I can ride this out, pick up some bargains along the way. I'm down 25% (vs last year) currently on my ISA, feeling the sting, but am trying to keep my cool.

I don't do any chart reading, I think they represent value, and should improve soon. I tend to buy, and hold. I don't like to keep buying and selling, I'm in for the long haul.

I've been feeling that way constantly over the last few years, bargains constantly. Want to buy more rolls royce, but haven't got any cash spare.

This post reeks of eau de ramp, however, assuming it's not just a ramp, what kind of offer do you reckon we could get? pound a share?
