With the charge for return people just think about the negative effects on customer satisfaction, but the fail to consider the significant upside on profit. People will be angry to start, but they soon get used to it.

Was always going to happen. A gap is always filled, Russia isn't the only country with gas, and there are plenty in line to supply Europe's needs.

Ultimately the economic cost is not as high as how much it will cost to let Vlad win. Needs to be "nipped in the bud" as the saying goes.

Both businesses have potential, but I feel PHE is the one that is boom or bust, whereas HUI will be more steady but also more reliable. Once they have some plants set up PHE has the potential to suddenly gain customers all over the world, which is where the value is IMI. I hold both but I think PHE is just waiting for the spark to suddenly send it flying to the moon. All this energy security concern is helping accelerate this process.

I've no idea where the SP is going short term, but long term I see this as a solid business that will grow into an international powerhouse.

A dividend would be awesome at this point, at least then I can get some cash out without selling early.

This Is exactly how I think about it. Inflation is mostly caused by businesses reacting to a sudden return of demand post covid and the war as an extra catalyst. I reckon things will bounce next year.

That's why they brought out the contactless cards. There will be a fraud cost associated with contactless, but it will be offset by the charges. However, I do not agree that it is us being mugged off by the banks. We benefit from contactless and cards. Cash can easily be stolen, whereas my cards are all insured and protected. The price of any product is always a culmination of various costs, all hidden from the end consumer.

This was part of my rationale for buying the stock. I remember when I was a kid, Adidas and Nike getting similar write ups, yet they are still one of the biggest sporting brands in the world.
