Agreed, management seem to be the best we could possibly have in this scenario. Seems to have shareholders best interests in mind.

Trouble is, their solutions to everything is just to make cuts, or pay out huge sums to pay for bills etc.
What's desperately missing from this country is government investment in infrastructure and education, including support for communities that need that boost to get working and get skills. This country will not survive if it doesn't invest in the future.

The price movements do support the idea that this could be true. All my stocks have been moving up, this could possibly be the cause. End the war, inflation drops, back to buying rubbish, and going "out out".

If I were Putin, I'd bite their hand off for that deal! If this is a genuine offer, there's a good chance he may take it. What hope has he got? No way they can win this thing. Looks like a well timed offer IMO, get them on the back foot, then make a generous offer. Ultimately Putin wouldn't face war crimes anyway, because they'd never get him out of Russia.

TBH, whilst DC may be a paid troll etc, I see negative people all throughout my life.
When I was moving North, from the South, I was told all manner of negative things about the North, none of which were remotely true.
I took a leap of faith, and won!
Some people always see the cup as half empty, and that's just life. Half the job is sorting the wheat from the chaff. I think it's natural to be fearful, it's evolutionarily advantageous. Out in the wild, taking risks gets you killed.

TBH, I just like this post for the Betamax reference, it's crazy how this always seems to happen with new technology. Hopefully we don't go the same way as Betamax! Though I doubt it, hydrogen is valuable for many uses.
