If you were to ask me what I think will more than likely happen (notice I don't say will), I would say the war ends and after some time of diplomatic back and forth, trading returns to something like stability. Nothing is guaranteed in life and certainly not in the stock market.

It's not silly at all, the worst case is the stock goes to zero which is technically very possible in this situation. Asking for a worst case scenario here isn't risk management at all, it's just trying to kid yourself that there is minimum loss scenario. It's a boom or bust play and to think otherwise is delusional. I think there's a good chance it won't go to zero but it is always possible and especially with the current circumstances.

I think if you're worried about the worst case, then you should invest in something steady and dependable like a REIT, index tracker or something.
Worst case is Putin drops a big bomb, US bombs back, and we all die.
The golden rule is, things are never as good or bad as you imagine.

I just hope they get a better looking ballance sheet. More profit less debt would be nice.

could be the end of this covid based drought. We had the job losses and closures; now we've had the sudden spring back followed by inflation due to sudden demand growth. This year could be the year where things go back to normal, although I don't think there really is a normal and I feel a post covid boom coming.

good point bonker but they love that phrase "debt free" it makes people feel invincible and will boost the SP.

Exactly T4G, the most important phrase being "target audience". I will probably never buy from Boohoo same as I'll never buy from Apple but both companies have a target audience and are successful at selling to that specific audience.

My guess is mild growth with significantly improved profits due to cost cutting.

What I wonder is if we'll see a big snap back, and get deflation.

I would like to play the dips, but I am afraid that It will sell, and it keeps climbing. I'm sticking to what Warren Buffet says about not timing the market.
