I use Slack all day for business and it's great, plus in theory fully traceable. I wouldn't mind hosting/joining a Slack group.
There are still problems with that though, especially at any sort of scale - if you have a closed group there's no transparency, how do new people find it, how do you avoid a hierarchy, or a mod abusing power etc? Plus the problem of PIs getting trolled on BBs doesn't go away.

I might apply for Nobby's guild that we keep hearing about, I can definitely see the appeal of cutting out the trolls, would be interested to see how it compares to here.

There's nothing inherently wrong with investment syndicates, but especially if they do well, you could end up basically colluding to move markets. Which isn't much better than the (basically criminal) groups of traders on telegram.

I'm wondering about a BB where your username is anonymous but you have to prove your identity to join.
In an ideal world, maybe even linked with investment/trading accounts so claims could be verified.
In theory there are already legal consequences for lying but obviously enforcement is very weak.

Org, on the other hand, is clearly desperate to push the covid-denialist agenda. It's tempting to make a wee list of his contradictions and post it repeatedly. For one, he claims that he'd never heard of this site before January, but his account is from 2013.

There was some speculation that one item on the PRIME agenda may involve Synairgen, since the details were kept confidential for commercial reasons. We cannot be at all certain of this. The date given for a decision was the 15th Oct IIRC.

Again, the best day traders win maybe 60% of their trades. They will say anything and they will flip between misery and euphoria within hours. Best ignored.

Actually I think quite a few traders keep getting their fingers burned here. I believe the best day traders can call something like 60% of trades correctly. Even among the successful, most burn out. The retail traders go bust fairly quickly.

There were at least two good jokes. PMJH shared a very interesting video transcript search technique.
We came under attack from trolls, there was some market abuse, quite a bit of waffling, and I lost my mind.
Oh, and the scientists discovered an underlying genetic reason for predisposition to severe Covid involving antibodies to interferon which appears to further support use of SNG001.
Nobody has the faintest idea what's happening with the trials but we're keeping the faith anyway.

@VP We do already have granted patents for the drug, AFAIK these new applications are specific to use alongside steroids. So probably more about widening and extending the patent protection, which adds value for anyone buying or licencing.
