I think that 1% figure is quite old? Dexamethasone cuts it by 30% from where we started out.
I imagine 4 deaths in a sample of 1000 is not enough to give much certainty on mortality yet.

The implications of this are quite difficult to think about.

We're certainly not the only treatment coming, some antibodies are already approved and there are more on the way.
It is unfortunately possible that the new variant will not react in the same way to certain antibodies.

SNG001 has a distinct advantage in that strictly speaking it doesn't target the virus, it primes the immune system to fight it off by replacing/boosting this protein that is lacking for many people, whether due to age, co-morbidity or genetic differences.

So we used £4M from the March placing for long lead-time work and allocated £30M from the last placing for scaling up - possibly more now if we've saved £5-10m on the shorter trial. Our goal at this point is to supply 100K treatments per month.
I have a very basic understanding of the manufacturing process but I'd like to know where the bottlenecks are.
Will everything be building up to the first big batch, or will they start out at say, 10k/month and build up to 100k?
Once you can make a batch of 100,000 treatments, what would stop you doubling up? Equipment? Cell lines? Reagents? Compliance?
