Mr Conroy also commented on the state of a $35-billion deal signed in 2018 with British company BAE to build Hunter-class frigates.

"This is a project that we inherited from the last government, a project where, quite frankly, the last government lied about what they were buying," he said.

"They presented to the Australian public that 'we are buying a proven off the shelf product that effectively all the kinks have been resolved'.

"Instead, we've got a developmental project, where the project cost has increased by 50 per cent to just under $45 billion, and we're facing delays of between two and four years on separate stages of it."

Mr Conroy said the government was committed to working with BAE and the Australian Navy to fix the project.

He also said Rolls Royce, which does much of the most critical work on the British subs, doesn’t have enough capacity to take on more production. I will keep post negative comments, until ROLLS ROYCE picks the actual good news.
Do not take my advice. I have had enough to been in holding from this stock for the last 3 years all I'm hopping to get out once it hits my average.

Like most stocks, Like I said earlier the markets Haven’t bottomed yet there’s more pain ahead
Rr will probably come back to the the 70s at somepoint but long term it’s almost guaranteed to go back to £1.50+

It’s not going to be pretty but your going to be able to pick up bargains everywhere
Things like Amazon sub $100 etc etc

That was 10th June last year when sp 88p and it was pretty much spot on ;-)
