Unfortunately I spend a lot of time in hospitals so I know first hand that there aren't millions of new doctors, zero waiting lists, etc. as claimed and my rates went up as they did for everyone.

Whether Farage is telling the truth or not only time will tell but as it stands the public have a choice of him or proven liars, so it's understandable why those who haven't yet given up all hope will give him a go.

According to Rodders at PMLies today everything is simply marvelous.

Like him or not Farage is more in tune with the feelings of a very sizable number of the population and it was astounding to see the govt attempting to drown him out for asking a question on their behalf.

As a schoolchild I vividly remember doing my homework under a candle due to the constant miners strikes and I guess that now we are returning to the gloom of the 1970s the same will happen again, although this time it will be because parents can't afford the electricity.

We've just returned from a short break in the New Forest and the owner of the small hotel was saying he's £25k down for June alone compared to last year and of course his costs have rocketed. He's one of the good eggs that tries to give training and job opportunities to the youngsters and those who haven't had the luckiest starts to life. He's reluctantly now considering the tax offers from abroad to emigrate.
