A short but true story which I don't think I've posted .

Many moons ago I was Chairman of our local Parish Council and had a Cons County Councilor & a Lib Dem District Councillor.

Hesitantly they approached me in the pub after a meeting and asked which one of them I supported. They were confused as I'd previously supported different suggestions from them both and I had to explain that a good idea for the Parish is exactly that, regardless of political colours.

To this day I'm not sure they totally understood and I'm going back nigh on 30 years.

We've always had two dogs at a time. Company for each other when you have to leave them and it avoids the total emptiness when the inevitable happens.

If you do try that make sure there's a good gap in ages though. Not through choice our dallies were from the same litter and we lost them just two months apart.

Took me years after moving to the country to deal with mixie. You know it's the kindest thing to do but .......

None of us can predict the bottom but my feeling is that there will be one hell of a lot of pressure on Trump, internally as well, to reign it back and the weekend break gives plenty of opportunity. As always these days the stop losses will have intensified the drop and if all else fails I can live with those divi returns especially with interest rates dropping.

I'd be interested if other Tecaners went spending today.

I've been caught out a few times recently on AIM due to other things going on and imho you've got to be watching all the time.

So for me just the normal higher divi stocks like Mng, Lgen, TW etc which should recover without issue when the dust finally settles.
