From what I’m hearing about this new variant it seems certain that it will completely take over as the dominant strain from Delta. Still a few weeks away from establishing the severity of it and the effectiveness of vaccines although it appears that for those who have already suffered from Covid the symptoms appear mild. Although it’s possible and probable we’ll have other variants, I think if HEMO are going to have a Covid play they’ll have to get their act together and release some news on CBR by Q1 at latest, else I see Covid being bracketed as similar to the flu, and something we just have to live with. Come on Vlad..tick tock.

DaddyBear There is indeed a Covid play here through their product candidate called CBR, although it’s not strictly for Covid it’s a solution for all viral infections including Covid and Omicron. It’s been in development for around 20 months but little is known about it as HEMO are seeking patent protection before releasing further details. Around 2 months ago investors were promised an update ‘soon’ with regular updates to follow but as yet nothing. We are told the solution works and that they were validating results some time ago so it could be imminent, or it might not be.
Hemogenyx also have 2 other product candidates approaching clinical trials and far more advanced than CBR. The first is CAR-T, I’m which they are working in collaboration with Penn University, arguably the world leaders in this field. HEMO have recently started making their own CAR and intend to have discussions with the FDA in either January or February in advance of an IND application. Once the IND is approved clinical trials can start for what I understand will be 20 patients. I anticipate these could start end of Q2 next year. They also have a CDX bi-specific antibody that in all probability will follow the same timelines. This was developed in collaboration with Eli Lilly over the last 3 years.
It’s possible that at least 2 of the above could receive expedited FDA approval and or grants to take them forward although HEMO state (and are) fully funded to take CAR-T and CDX through phase 1 clinical trials. Pumpky Whilst I understand your frustration and anger I also understand Brewskys positive that he doesn’t care. Shares are all about entry point, sometimes you get it wrong and sometimes you get it right, the bottom line is he’s right in the sense it’s pointless looking back, it is what it is and all that matters is today. Nobody should trade or invest on emotion, it’s the surest way to lose money. The facts on HEMO are this; they are fully funded to take at least one if not two product candidates through phase one clinical trials. They have two if not three viable candidates that in my opinion will go into clinical trials, at least two of which will be from summer next year. IF any further funding is required they have stated it will be non dilutive. All of their product candidates are potentially billion dollar drugs. They will, in my opinion, substantially rerate next year. Peer level companies are valued around £170m Mcap. Unfortunately patience is required but if new or LTHs are patient I strongly believe everyone will make money investing in this company. I say this on the basis that everything they have done scientifically has shown their products work. Hold your nerve and all will be well. Good luck to all.

Brewsky I agree with most of your post, but let’s get the facts right. The blame for the SP being at current levels is 100% the fault of Vlad and the BOD. Didn’t they take the toxic CLN finance? Weren’t they warned for months it was a death spiral? Weren’t they the ones naive enough to take just a verbal agreement Mint wouldn’t sell? Wasn’t it Vlad that said this would be the ‘most exciting year ever’? Wasn’t it Vlad who promised various pieces of news in multiple interviews and has said nothing ever since? Don’t blame the lack of investor PR, that ball is solely in Hemos court! Like any small cap, you say nothing you get nothing. High time they delivered on their promise of news and ‘regular updates’. In all honesty ANY update. That being said I’m very bullish on the stock and will wait as long as it takes, BUT Vlad runs this as if it were a private company and it’s not. Amateur hour on the PR and overall management. Just my opinion.

Im not bothered what share does what. The bottom line for me is that I started with this year with 38k to invest and as of today I have 16k left, all in HEMO. It’s felt like a death by a thousand cuts all year but hopefully HEMO will give me a better year next year. After a couple of good years it’s been a real eye opener as to how dangerous investing in small caps can be! Onwards lol.

Glen, it depends on how you define a trader. Sure there are day traders in for a quick 5-10% on any stock. Then there are traders who get their entry and exit points right and make a decent profit on either part or all of their investment. To me, a long term investment is just someone who got their entry point wrong and is trapped and heavily underwater. Certainly from the small caps I’ve followed over the years, very few if any have made any money simply by holding. Just my opinion.

Brewsky Thanks for the update. Half the problem here is what HEMO say and what they do are two completely different things. From what I can see Vlad had promised in June that updates on both CAR-T and CBR would be ‘soon’ and that regular updates would follow. To date, nothing has been said on the progress of any product candidate. I’ve no doubt they are making progress towards clinical trials but it is of concern that they have no interest in informing shareholders of anything they do.Typical small cap I suppose, once they have raised funds they have no interest in who provided them.

Bline Surprised it’s only 65%. Just shows how stupid and naive the other 35% are lol.
Regarding HEMO, I wouldn’t worry about the SP or what’s marked as a sell or a buy. Until volume returns we’ll stay as is, and volume won’t return until we get news, especially in the run up to Christmas. Personally I’ll see where we are at the end of Q2 and any news before then I’ll take as a bonus, but won’t be selling any until IND applications are in and in all probability will wait until Phase 1 clinical trial results, that’s where the major money is to be made. Tick tock.

Excellent find and highly significant I think. I note that Complete Omics are VC funded and have experience in bi specific antibodies. A truly next generation company. Furthermore, they have an existing collaboration agreement with the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, an International non profit organization, that has already contributed over $2bn towards the fight against Cancer. Interestingly they are also headquartered in New York. I sense the work of Dr Walts here and Hemos pledge for the next round of funding to be non dilutive. Big things on the horizon I think and so typical of Hemogenyx to say nothing about it. Frustrating company to say the least!!

Just one addition, as I understand it there are only 20 people participating in the trials so shouldn’t take too long to get them on board and once underway, I wouldn’t expect them to take too long to complete. On a side note, the FDA have said many refusals are due to companies not understanding the process and they do recommend companies talk to them in advance of an IND application, so very prudent of Hemogenyx to meet with them and increase the probability of success.

They can’t do an IND application until all the pre-clinical enabling studies are completed. With CAR-T it’s a very complicated process, with CDX they couldn’t really begin until they had reached agreement with ELi to license their IP.

Correct, they won’t start until then. Besides they have to get an IND application approved before clinical trials can start. End of Q2 is the timeframe you should be looking at for trials to commence.

My reading of the current Covid situation is this. I believe the highly infectious Delta variant had two mutations. The latest Omicron has over thirty mutations and critically ten in the spike protein, the part that the virus uses to attack human cells and also the part where all vaccines are focused. Going back through Vlads tweets he has stated that we were only four mutations away from vaccines losing their efficacy. So I believe that whether it’s this variant or the next, vaccines will need to be constantly modified, which I understand would take around a hundred days, plus regulatory approvals, plus manufacturing and roll outs. Unless of course there was a completely new approach to viral infections, a unique approach. An approach that is being worked on by Hemogenyx. A thing called CBR. Nineteen months into development and still not one tangible update as to what it could offer to the world. Whilst I can understand the need for patent protection, if it can do what Hemogenyx have stated it can do, and that is to combat any viral infection (and this has been backed up in trials to date) then surely they MUST release details of its potential soon. At very least I’d expect them to discuss it in their CAR-T discussions with the FDA in January. From what I hear it does look a highly promising product candidate. As a shareholder I feel that with CDX and CAR-T progressing in parallel towards clinical trials and with the SP hovering around all time lows, the risk vs reward is very much on the upside. All only in my opinion.

Thanks Chris. From what I understand Vlad wouldn’t have the choice whether it was sold or not it would be the shareholders that decided? From what I see, most shareholders would bite their arm off for such an uplift. Appreciate the discussion though.
