Two areas I was drawn to in today’s RNS. For the treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia AND other hard to treat cancers and for patients ACROSS the EU.

€200-300k a patient funds all work in the US so a deal just became FAR more expensive for a major.

Very interesting program on BBC2 tonight on Disease X.

What is Disease X? It’s the next pandemic. Takes me back a few years when talking to Vlad about Covid, we didn’t develop it for Covid he said “we developed it for Disease X”.

The program discusses whether another pandemic is possible. It is not whether it’s possible they say, it’s certain.

The facts are HG-CT-1 is already the best in class treatment available for individuals who had exhausted all other treatment options without success.

Exactly the same results are being reported from the first human cohort.

J&J who attended the DCNY summit do have an understanding of Hemogenyx having previously signed a multi year collaboration deal for HEMO to develop a drug development model for them:

Immugenyx will collaborate with Janssen on the development of a model of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the most common form of Lupus, using its advanced hematopoietic chimeras (AHC). AHC, a new type of humanised mouse with a functional human immune system, is being developed by Immugenyx as an in vivo platform for disease modelling and drug development.

Dr Vladislav Sandler, CEO & Co-Founder of Hemogenyx, commented: "As a company committed to the development of novel therapeutic products for patients suffering from blood and severe autoimmune diseases, we are pleased to partner with Janssen, a world leader in the discovery and development of therapeutics for autoimmune diseases."

According to the terms of the agreement, Immugenyx will collaborate with Janssen on research activities that are determined by a mutually approved research plan. Immugenyx shall own the humanised mouse model of Lupus to be developed in collaboration with Janssen. Immugenyx shall grant to Janssen and its Affiliates a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, fully-paid-up, transferable, worldwide, license to use the Lupus model solely for their own internal research and product development purposes.

Considering other multi year collaborations have included Eli Lilly and Penn, the world leaders in CAR-T therapy, you could say Hemogenyx have always punched above their weight.

Let it roll, what RNS are you expecting? I know we have one coming from the DSMB confirming dose escalation can proceed for patient 4, and we have one coming from the IRB confirming the commencement of the pediatrics trial. Maybe a funding announcement from the DCNY summit? Or a curveball announcement on CBR or even CDX?

So much excitement lol.

Personally I think it’s virtually certain HG-CT-01 will be presented here. Abstracts are closed but late submissions are allowed between the 15th and 29th of October.

People here can worry about who is shorting Hemogenyx or why others are slicing profit, but really the only focus in my opinion should be the excitement on starting the pediatrics trial, the dose escalation on patient 4 from adults and what informing the world of Hemogenyx’s treatment of r/r AML later this year will mean for the share price.

I understand Vlads presentation went down extremely well yesterday to an audience of around 150. Not any audience, members of the US Senate, Congressional members, State backed Investment Funds and most interestingly to me Corporate Venture Capitalists.

Because you know what CVC's do right? They not only arrange funding and partnerships but are there to represent their parent companies doing due diligence on future merger and acquisitions.

The SP will exceed £50 sooner than many realise.

Worth a look at the start.

HG-CT-01 at least as efficacious as any CAR-T currently approved but far safer. It would be the first 3rd generation CAR-T approved by the FDA.

Value almost certainly to be in the billions of dollars. It’s not if a deal with a major is struck but when. Imo.

Wouldn't surprise me to see an RNS in the morning stating the Internal Review Board (IRB) at MD Anderson have officially approved the commencement of the pediatric trial. With the hospital already enrolling patients its obviously a given thar it'll be approved and with the FDA giving the green light after seeing data from just two patients it's pretty clear they think HG-CT-1 is safe.

That'll be followed by patient 3 passing 28 day safety, again a given but confirmation always nice to have.

That'll be 3 from 3 with all patients alive since the trial commenced nearly seven months ago. A great indicator of the efficacy and with the first cohort successfully completed we're onto dose escalation and running two trials in parallel with the faster, more efficient and effective GRex technology that's also now outsourced so far cheaper and scalable up to commercial production.

Personally I believe we're very close to an FDA fasttrack through the phases and also potentially multi million dollar grants/vouchers from the FDA themselves.

As regards individuals either having FOMO, the fear of missing out, or today's FOSI, the fear of staying I'm, that's entirely up to them. Again it's just my opinion but I'm absolutely convinced this WILL be bought out by a major. A JV licensing deal, buying the product candidate or most likely a purchase of the company is highly likely and most probably this year.

Like most of the LTH's (and I know many) we're waiting for a SP of £50+. Those who don't believe it'll reach and exceed that..don't buy it.
