Have they reiterated this target or is it possible it hasn't been updated yet? Thanks for the info, btw. It's really helpful to see a list of important points all in one post.

I believe they're aiming to produce 100,000 treatments every month throughout 2021, as Richard Marsden said.

But aside from the trial, that doesn't mean they'll be using them before approval. And I don't think that will come before the analysis of phase 3 results, hence the timeline I'm anticipating below.

I expect the trial to finish in March, and therefore expect the results in April or May.

I can't see any way they'll finish it in time to get any results out in February.

A few clusters popping up here and there throughout summer and then another really bad, 'unexpected' wave completely out of left-field late next autumn.

Everyone who didn't bother getting the jab will regret their mistake, those who did will be due for another anyway. But they'll take another month to offer protection and everything will go to **** again in the meantime.

Maybe by winter 2022 we'll have a handle on it just in time for SarsCov3: The Final Countdown. Hopefully that strain will be from Australia so we can all call it the koalavirus. But after a few weeks of hearing that it'll stop being funny because we'll all be dead.

RNSs aren't the only things that influence investors. This should finally start appearing in hospitals worldwide in the coming weeks and many more doctors will be familiar with the company and its drug.

Several large pharmaceutical companies will be worth many billions of dollars more by the end of this financial year, too. This might be sensible investment for some of it.

That's incorrect. They can use a different drug as a control instead, if it's deemed suitable.

Guys, how can we really be sure SNG001 is safe if it's approved next year?

I heard the phase 1 trial was cancelled and they didn't even started phase 2 less than a year ago. What about the long term effects, expert commentators?

I think a reporter has taken a comment and twisted it to make a story, and then you've twisted it further to create a discussion on here.

The government succeeded in helping to build field hospitals. Nobody 'hoped' we would need them.

And if you go back and look at Richard Marsden's interviews, the "weeks not months" comment referred to how long they expected to wait to get some feedback from the regulators. Just feedback, not how long they expected to wait for approval. Verbatim:

IIRC the disapplication of pre-emption rights (i.e. first refusal for existing shareholders) has been in effect for years, having been voted on and passed each time.

If they required it in order to complete an RTO, I think they would have made that clear prior to the vote to ensure it went through.

The Astrazeneca/Oxford vaccine team hopes to publish their peer-reviewed work in the Lancet this weekend. So that'll help to clear up a lot of the confusion about the mistake and how it affects the overall results.

Are you implying that if they re-run the trial and it confirms their results, the sensible people are the ones who will doubt it? That seems counter-intuitive.

It's probably something along the lines of "three vaccines were just announced that will probably prevent the virus we're developing a drug for". It's not rocket surgery.

On the plus side, I can't see what other news could send the share price much lower, and Phase 3 results should turn things around.

I got the impression from a little research (and no medical expertise) that the liver toxicity risk posed by folate buildup was unheard of ten or twelve years ago, and it's mainly research done since then that has identified the possible risk.

So maybe the FDA weren't aware of the risk when they first advised Motif on the data they needed. I can't help but think that's more likely than a conspiracy by the FDA to deliberately and unfairly halt the development of an important medicine.

That's mainly why I've got more confidence in the BoD and the drug than most people seem to.

Does Deepverge have a system for handling the (hazardous?) waste from our tests?

I'm also concerned that locations with the Deepverge scanners could become Covid hotspots. It's hard to imagine many locations signing up for that.

It's been standard practice in the US since 1988. So...all of them. It's called the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

I haven't been able to find any research on vaccine side effects that only occurred years later, so it wouldn't really worry me. I tend to only trust reliable research from trusted sources though. Actual doctors and such.

What if they refused to allow people into hospitals or aboard planes if they hadn't been vaccinated? I mean, at what point does your right to refuse a vaccine encroach on my right to avoid catching it from you, if I'm one of the many who can't take a vaccine for health reasons?
